'Game Of Thrones' Song Begs For Book Six

Is there anguish more stinging than the gradual realization that soon you will finish every published word of "A Song of Fire and Ice" and will have to wait like everyone else for George R. R. Martin to finish the sixth book?

Yes, but it still sucks.

Rest assured, reader, that winter will soon end and that you are not alone in your desire for "The Winds of Winter." The kind fellows at Geek and Sundry (via Vulture) have turned their anxiousness into a catchy song, gently urging Martin to write faster.

Check out the video after the jump!

The folky duo in the video attempt to persuade Martin, or "Great Bearded Glacier" as they refer to him in the song, and remind him that his series is being compared to famous examples and how long those took.

"Lewis took five years to chronicle Narnia. Tolkien had 12 years, and Rowling took ten. Lucas spent nearly three decades on 'Star Wars,' and we all know how that one turned out in the end."
