Michael Jackson Showed 'No Signs Of Life' When EMTs Arrived

The prosecution presented more incriminating evidence and witness testimony during day four in the manslaughter trial against former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray.

Witnesses who took the stand Friday (September 30) included medical-equipment expert Bob Johnson; Robert Russell, a former patient of Murray's; paramedics Richard Senneff and Martin Blount; and ER doctor Richelle Cooper.

Johnson's testimony proved to be particularly interesting in that he claimed the device Murray was using to monitor Jackson's pulse and blood oxygen level, a pulse oximeter, was an inferior model that did not feature an alarm that would have alerted Murray to Jackson's cardiac arrest the moment it occurred. The alarm feature is a point of contention for the prosecution because they intend to prove that Murray showed gross negligence in administering a dose of the highly potent anesthetic propofol and then leaving Jackson in a room alone, attached to a device that lacked the proper monitoring capabilities.

Johnson was followed by Russell, a patient who Murray operated on twice after he suffered a heart attack and had to have several stents placed in his heart. Russell testified that while he was pleased with the results of his surgeries, Murray became unresponsive and distant in June 2009, when he canceled two follow-up appointments with Russell. The last time he had any contact with Murray was via a voicemail the doctor left claiming Russell's heart was "repaired" and that he was leaving on sabbatical. The message was left approximately 30 minutes before Jackson's bodyguard Alberto Alvarez called 911.

Fireman and paramedic Richard Senneff took the stand next to discuss the specific details involved in his attempts to resuscitate Jackson on the day of his death, particularly the fact that had Murray called 911 at the moment he found Jackson unconscious, the EMTs might have been able to save him. Senneff explained that when he arrived on the scene, only four minutes after they received the 911 call, Murray was "frantic" and that he had to ask the doctor three times what Jackson's health condition was before Murray answered that there was none, despite the fact that he had been hooked up to an IV that was hanging nearby.

"Simply, that did not add up to me, doctors in the house, IV pole, IV hooked up to the patient; it simply did not seem normal," he said, before adding that Murray lied to him about giving Jackson any medications, including propofol. Senneff also alleged that there were inconsistencies in Murray's claim that he called 911 immediately, given the fact that when the EMTs arrived and attempted CPR, Jackson's skin was "very cool to the touch" and his eyes dilated. When asked if he witnessed any signs of life in Jackson, Senneff said, "No, I did not."

When Senneff's colleague Martin Blount took the stand, he also told the court that he did not see any signs of life from Jackson when they arrived on the scene, and added that he witnessed Murray sweeping bottles of Lidocaine into a black bag before Jackson was taken out of the room.

The final witness to testify Friday was Dr. Richelle Cooper, the attending ER physician who treated Jackson when he arrived at the hospital. Cooper recounted asking Murray for a full list of the medications Jackson was taking, as well as what he claimed had happened to cause Jackson's heart failure. Cooper said Murray thought Jackson was only dehydrated from his long rehearsals and revealed that the pop star was taking anti-anxiety drug Lorazepam, Flomax for an enlarged prostate and Valium. There was no mention of propofol.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to the charge of involuntary manslaughter. He faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license.

Gackt Speaks In This Exclusive 'Bunraku' Clip And Interview!

Director Guy Moshe's "Bunraku" isn't all about fighting, but you could certainly be forgiven for thinking otherwise. Set in a future where bullets have been outlawed and conflicts are started and finished with fists, "Bunraku" follows two men ? a Drifter played by Josh Hartnett and a samurai, Yoshi, played by Gackt ? out on a deadly mission with a mutual goal? one that's destined to end in blood.

We have an exclusive clip from "Bunraku" for your viewing pleasure today, but that's not all. We also spoke with Japanese singer-songwriter and actor Gackt, who makes his English language debut in "Bunraku," about playing the even-tempered Yoshi, working with Hartnett and shooting the film's most grueling fight sequences. See what he had to say after the jump!

MTV News: What drew you to "Bunraku"?

Gackt: [Director Guy Moshe's] passion. He flew all the way to Japan to see me, and the vision he pitched me made me feel like I had to take this role. I felt something special about "Bunraku."

What appealed to you most about the part of Yoshi? What makes him an interesting character for you to play?

Yoshi?s strong Bushido spirit. Bushido is also the core of how I think, feel, and live so I felt this was a great opportunity for me to express to the world what ?Bushido? really means.

Much of your screen time is opposite Josh Hartnett as the Drifter. What was it like working with Josh?

Josh and I were on set together pretty much the whole time. I especially remember the fighting scene with him in the rain. It took forever to shoot and felt like we were filming for over 20 hours? it was extremely brutal, yet invaluable. Josh?s work ethic is amazing and I learned a lot from the man. He is a talented actor and I respect him very much.

Speaking of fight scenes, "Bunraku" is positively loaded with them. What was your favorite fight to film? Which was the most challenging?

I love martial arts so all the fights were fun to do, especially when I kick butt! Learning the long fight choreography was a challenge, I guess. I would say I did 98% of all my stunts so there was a lot to learn.

"Bunraku" is your first English language movie; was it an experience you enjoyed? A challenging one? Are you looking to star in more movies stateside?

I think I did a good job with my dialogue so I?d like to know what you guys think. Expressing my thoughts and ideas with the director and cast was a bit difficult. But everything was a new experience for me and I?m definitely down to do another movie. I love to challenge myself, and always looking for new opportunities.

For the fans you already have and the fans you?ve yet to earn, send them a message: why should they check out "Bunraku"? What do you think they?ll get out of the experience?

"Bunraku" is a Cowboy meets Samurai meets Mafia action flick. It?s an action-packed movie unlike any other, mixing various genres in the style of Japanese puppetry. You must be like, Huh? You?ll know what I mean when you watch the movie. There are humorous moments with my character, Yoshi, so I think my fans can see a new side of me.

Jamie Foxx Clarifies Hairdo, On 'When I Was 17'

Jamie Foxx reveals the appalling misconception of his hairdo during the '80s on this week's episode of "When I Was 17," airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV.

"When I was 17, I had the major curl, not the Jheri curl," Foxx says. "A lot of people get it twisted and confused, and they say 'Jheri curl.' "

What's the difference, you're wondering? He explains, "I had the little curls in the front and the big ones in the back."

His friend Gilbert shares who else worked this 'do: "I would link the major curl to women or pimps, for the most part."

But growing up in a small town in Texas, Jamie's major curl must have helped him stand out from the crowd.

"Where I grew up was Terrell, Texas, right outside of Dallas: 12,000 people, a small town where everybody knew everybody," he says.

Besides maintaining his hairdo, Foxx tells us how he spent the rest of his time when he was 17: "It was just real simple. It was about having a crush on a girl, walking her from the football stadium, holding hands. You go park, and the cops bang on the door, 'What y'all doing?' "

Nobody likes a flattened major curl.

"When I Was 17" ? this week featuring Jamie Foxx, Tia and Tamera Mowry, and Chris Bosh ? airs Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV.

T.I. Drops 'I'm Flexin',' His First Post-Prison Track

T.I. just completed his 11-month prison sentence Thursday, and he's already dropping musical heat. On Friday (September 30), the Atlanta rapper released his first post-prison single, "I'm Flexin'," featuring Big K.R.I.T.

The song was originally due for release Monday, but instead, fans are getting an end-of-the-week treat. The multitalented K.R.I.T., whose debut album's release has been pushed back to next year, handles the song's chorus and production, while T.I. delivers three verses with a double-time flow, using the song to assert that he is officially back. "My hustle grand, my money long, my spot on top but y'all want that/ My position vacant, my crown away but my throne is empty, I own that," he spits on the second verse over the instrumental's nimble drums, keys and electric guitars.

T.I. appeared on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, giving his first interview since being released from prison. During his chat, T.I. gave praise to the current movement in his hometown of Atlanta with the surge of new rappers and said that the city needs his help. Later Friday, Tip will celebrate his birthday at Atlanta's Club Esso.

Since his return to a halfway house to finish his federal sentence, Tip has appeared on songs with 2 Chainz ("Spend It" remix), Future ("Magic" remix) and Young Jeezy ("F.A.M.E."). But "I'm Flexin'," which was released via Tip's TrapMuzik.com website, is the first song credited as his own. Also made available was an excerpt from the trap rapper's upcoming novel, "Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets," co-written with David Ritz, which will be released October 18.

As for more music, a message Thursday on Tip's Twitter reveals that fans can expect a few more remixes from the "Rubberband Man" shortly. "N!*%$ in Paris already a dun-datta...pending Ye&J's approval. 'Sleezy' w/Ke$ha & 'Magic' w/Future too...what else???" he tweeted.

"The record is hot," DJ Drama, T.I.'s longtime collaborator, told MTV News about "I'm Flexin' " earlier this week. "Big K.R.I.T. deserves it. He's been working for a long time. So they're both fans of each other, so sh-- is definitely gonna be a nice sound for the ear."

Jonah Hill Ponders Hollywood's Greatest Onscreen Stoners

In addition to obsessing over casting announcements, set photos and plot details, we cinephiles love nothing more than a good old fashioned debate over the best performances in film history and the actors who delivered them. This "Who Played It Best?" game has endless possibilities for inciting fun-filled arguments with friends, and it's even more fun when you can get the actors in question involved.

When MTV News caught up with Jonah Hill recently to address the award buzz surrounding his role in "Moneyball," we decided to throw in a question about the best onscreen stoners since, you know, he and his "Moneyball" co-star Brad Pitt have both played them. Not to mention the fact that a few of the movies Hill has made involve and/or revolve around pot smokers.

So who does Hill think played the better stoner, Pitt in "True Romance" or himself in "Knocked Up"?

"I don't know, they're both great. What's funny is [James] Franco played a stoner in "Pineapple Express" and I thought his was amazing. Brad in "True Romance" is pretty incredible, but Franco in 'Pineapple Express' I think is my favorite one."

After thinking about it for a minute more, Hill changed his mind and decided to vote in favor of an old school classic and move Sean Penn's beloved character Jeff Spicoli from "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" to the top of the list.

"Actually Spicoli is my favorite. Spicoli is the best stoner ever in a movie I think."

Do you agree with Hill's vote? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter!

Seth Rogen Says '50/50' Head-Shaving Scene Was Improvised

If the Summit Entertainment marketing machine has done its job, you've probably seen the eye-catching movie posters for the studio's latest release "50/50." The goofy one-sheet depicts a memorable scene from the film in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt's cancer-stricken Adam shaves his head, while a dubious Adam (played by Seth Rogen) looks on.

It's one of the movie's many lighthearted moments, adding levity to what could otherwise be a downer drama. But according to the film's stars, the take wasn't as carefree as it may have looked.

"My heart was beating hard, because we only had one take because you can't shave your head twice. It doesn't work," Gordon-Levitt said at the "50/50" premiere earlier this week in New York. "Normally, you can always do it over again when you're making movies. You get a take two. But we only got take one, and it worked."

Apparently, Gordon-Levitt had another reason to be nervous about the scene ? it wasn't scripted. According to producer and co-star Rogen, the two just played it by ear.

"We only had one shot at it," Rogen recalled. "It was the first day of filming, and we improvised the whole thing, which is not wise when it's something you have one take for, but it turned out funny. It went exactly how you see it in the movie, which was pretty good, I think."

You can judge Gordon-Levitt's razor skills for yourself: "50/50," co-starring Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard and Anjelica Huston, opened Friday (September 30).

Check out everything we've got on "50/50."

'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' Cast Joins The 'New Class'

All week long, we're celebrating "The New Class," Hollywood's latest group of up-and-coming actors and actresses on the cusp of graduating to greatness. Tune in every day this week for exclusive interviews with these pending graduates and your chance to vote for the student body president - the one you think holds the brightest future in the industry.

New Class week continues today with an exclusive first look at "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," based on the popular Stephen Chbosky novel of the same name. We've got interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of New Class inductees and "Perks" stars Logan Lerman, Nina Dobrev, Ezra Miller and Emma Watson, so click the video below to check it all out!

Of course, "Perks" is just one of the many credits these young rising stars have in the books. After the jump, get a look at everything else the "Perks" cast has been up to in their careers!

Nina Dobrev
If you're a fan of the vampire scene, there's no way you haven't heard of Dobrev by now? though perhaps you know her better as her "Vampire Diaries" alter ego, Elena Gilbert. Her biggest movie credits to date are "Chloe" and "The Roommate," but between "Vampire Diaries" and "Perks," it's a sure bet that Nina's star is on the rise.

Logan Lerman
Lerman, the Most Likely to Make You Swoon member of our New Class, takes center stage in "Perks of Being a Wallflower" as Charlie, the shy guy who's starting to learn the ways of the world. Lerman, of course, is already well accustomed to the ways of Hollywood: he's got major franchises under his belt like "Percy Jackson" and "Three Musketeers," and has even gone toe to toe against Christian Bale and Russell Crowe in "3:10 to Yuma."

Ezra Miller
Voted the Most Likely to Win an Independent Spirit Award amongst the New Class roster, Miller has more than earned his title. Looking past "Perks" and his memorable turns on "Law & Order: SVU" and "Royal Pains," Ezra's most powerful work to date is in the titular role of "We Need to Talk About Kevin," the Lynne Ramsay drama centered on the fallout of a teenage boy's high school killing spree. It's difficult subject matter to be sure, and Ezra pulls off the work with the kind of professionalism that shows incredible promise for his continued career.

Emma Watson
Come on, we don't really have to recap this one for you, do we? "Harry Potter" might be behind us, but Emma will always be the smartest witch of her age in our book!

Vote for your New Class student body president in the poll below!

Adele's 'Someone Like You' Video: Queen Of Pain

Never mind the fact that, in person, Adele is so bubbly she's practically effervescent. When it comes to her albums, Adele is pain personified. Alone and adrift, brokenhearted and bitter ? these are emotions we all feel, but rarely do we have the courage to express them like Adele does.

And nowhere on her 21 album is that more apparent than "Someone Like You," the stirring, somber closer in which Adele goes to visit a former love (with high hopes of a reconciliation), only to discover he has not only moved on with his life, but is in a much better place. And though she's heartbroken, she puts on a brave face, stubbornly proclaiming she'll find someone just like him, even if she knows that she never will. And that conclusion makes you ache not only because it's so daunting, but because it's so real. We've all felt that way, tried to trick ourselves into thinking that any other outcome was possible. In Adele's music, much like life, there are no happy endings.

"Someone Like You" was a natural choice for the next single from 21, and on Thursday (September 29), Adele premiered the video for the song ? an equally somber affair that matches not only the song's emotional wallop, but its straightforward, downright crushing simplicity.

Shot in Paris, in the very early hours of the morning, it is little more than Adele wandering the deserted streets of the city, gazing longingly at the Seine, very nearly breaking into tears. Director Jake Nava made the smart decision to shoot it in arty, smudgy black-and-white, which only adds to the clip's desolate, haunted feel. In a lot of ways, as she drifts along, Adele is little more than a ghost, haunting the streets, destined to remain invisible to all, especially the one she wants to notice.

It's a lot like how everyone feels after heartbreak, and that's what makes the "Someone Like You" video so powerful. There are no special effects, no camera tricks or elaborate choreography, because those are quick fixes. Life doesn't operate that way, especially when the bottom falls out and we are all alone. Our days are endless, our hearts black, our skies are gray. And when it gets to that point, all we have is our pain, majestically, beautifully so. Thankfully, we also have Adele, and that sonorous, sorrowful voice of hers. Long live the Queen of Pain.

Jonah Hill Talks 'Moneyball' Awards Buzz: 'It's Really Flattering'

If you haven't seen "Moneyball" yet, here's a little bit of a spoiler for you: it's good. It's very, very good. Not that a movie coming from Oscar nominees Brad Pitt and director Bennett Miller being excellent should strike anyone as a surprise, but the film's success doesn't rest entirely on their shoulders; in many ways, "Moneyball" is Jonah Hill's homerun.

Hill delivers an against-type turn as Peter Brand, an expert number-cruncher and stats analyst who comes to work for Billy Beane (Pitt) as the assistant general manager for the Oakland Athletics. Not even a full week after release, Hill's "Moneyball" performance has already generated awards buzz, a notion that takes Hill himself completely off guard.

"I don't know, I don't know," he told MTV News when asked how he feels about the buzz surrounding his performance. "I'm just really proud of the movie. Stuff like that is crazy when you hear someone ask you that question legitimately."

"It's really flattering and cool, but for me the whole experience has been wonderful and I'm already as proud as I would be would I get to be up for an award," he added. "I've never been up for any award in my life ... actually an MTV award [Best Comedic Performance and Best Newcomer noms for 'Superbad'], so that was already exciting enough for me."

"I don't know," he continued. "Basically it's just a crazy, insane question to be asked and you don't really know what to say when someone asks you that kind of question."

Well, Jonah, time to start preparing an answer ? come awards season, we have a feeling you'll be fielding that question day after day after day.

Lady Gaga 'Already Working' On Born This Way Follow-Up

This may not come as a shock to anyone who's marveled at her multitasking ways, but just four months after the release of her Born This Way album, says she's already working on the follow-up, which she says will be released "sooner rather than later."

That's what she told Ryan Seacrest just before the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas, adding that the new disc is just one of many projects she's juggling at the moment.

"I'm actually already working on my next album," she said. "So I've been working on that. I've been planning the next tour, which keeps me very excited and busy because I have lots of new ideas, and I know exactly how I want it to look. I'm also planning my next music video. I have lots of things to do, but in truth, I feel like I'm the most alive when I'm onstage."

And while there's still no release date (or any concrete information) on Gaga's next album, her manager, Troy Carter, recently suggested that, if he has his way, Gaga might give the record away for free.

Check out photos of Lady Gaga and others at the iHeartRadio festival.

"If it was up to me, I'd give away the next album and put it on every handset that I can put it on," Carter said last week at the f8 conference in San Francisco. "You can't be scared to fail. Sometimes we're going to get big results, and sometimes you learn a lesson, make an adjustment and move on."

Gaga made waves back in May with the multitude of methods she promoted Born This Way, including a much-discussed 99-cent pricing scheme with Amazon.com, which temporarily crashed the site.

A spokesperson for Gaga's label could not be reached for comment by MTV News about the new album.

Lady Gaga And Cher's 'The Greatest Thing' Is 'Timeless'

While we anxiously await the release of Lady Gaga and Cher's duet, "The Greatest Thing" ? which, according to Cher's Twitter, is supposed to drop in roughly two days ? we can while away the hours with a few insider details about the song from co-writer/producer RedOne.

When MTV News caught up with the mega-producer recently, we did our best to get an early listen of the track, but no dice. Instead, we asked him to tell us specifically what kind of song "The Greatest Thing" is and whether we'll want to dance to it or sing along ? or both.

"I think it's timeless. The beautiful thing about this song is, it's very uplifting, very uplifting. It's emotional, but it has dance on it, and it has a dance vibe on it," he explained. "It's just a timeless song. You can play it with the guitar, the piano, with whatever instrument you want. You can sing it a cappella, you know what I mean, it's that kind of song.

"I'm very excited about that song," Red added. "And it's an event. Cher and Lady Gaga: How big can it get?"

RedOne said Cher and Gaga were ecstatic with the finished product, and he couldn't be happier to have helped connect the two stars.

"Everybody loved it," he said. "Gaga on it, Cher, two big icons. [They are] part of music history. So it happened. I'm very happy to be a part of this."

Michael Jackson's Bodyguard And Chef Testify

The third day of testimony in the manslaughter trial against former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray once again featured former members of Jackson's staff, bodyguard Alberto Alvarez and chef Kai Chase.

Alvarez took the stand first Thursday (September 29) to describe his arrival on the scene. He claimed when he entered the room, he saw Murray performing chest compressions on Jackson with one hand, and that when Murray heard Alvarez enter, he made the frantic request for Alvarez to remove several vials of propofol -- the potent anesthetic that was part of the official cause of Jackson's death -- from the room before he called for an ambulance.

Jackson's former personal chef was next to testify. After going through a list of the food items she prepared regularly for MJ and his children, mostly healthy meals like granola with almond milk and juice blends, Chase revealed that on the day of Jackson's death, she was in the middle of preparing his lunch when a worried and panic-stricken Murray burst into the kitchen and shouted for her to "get help, get [son] Prince and get security." Chase said she "did as she was told" and went into the den to alert Prince and that she did her best to keep the children calm.

Testimony is set to resume again Friday at 8:45 a.m. PT. Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and administering the dose of propofol that caused Jackson's death and faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.

T.I. Once Again A Free Man

T.I. was released from a halfway house in Atlanta on Thursday (September 29) and has completed an 11-month sentence stemming from his 2010 arrest for drug possession, the rapper's attorney confirmed to MTV News.

"I'm excited our family is back together," T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, told MTV News in a statement. "Tip definitely completes us."

"He's out, he's good," T.I.'s manager and Grand Hustle partner, Jason Geter, told The Associated Press.

Tip's legal drama began with his 2007 arrest and eventual sentence on felony weapons charges. The Trap Muzik rapper was sentenced to one year and one day in prison in 2009; he completed nine months of his bid but was arrested again in October 2010 while driving in Los Angeles. The L.A. County district attorney's office declined to file drug charges against T.I. after finding narcotics in his vehicle, but the multiplatinum spitter violated his federal probation and was sentenced to serve 11 months in prison in October 2010.

According to the AP, T.I. will now have to serve one year of federal probation, but barring any infractions, there will be no more prison time.

It has been speculated that T.I. would make an appearance at the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which are being taped in Atlanta on Saturday. When T.I. was arrested in 2007, it was just hours before that year's BET ceremony.

T.I.'s buddy DJ Drama couldn't confirm whether the King of the South would attend the festivities, but he did express his excitement about Tip's return to the studio. "Me and Tip have been friends, working together for almost a decade now, so we know what we gotta do," he said. "It's really time to get to work and get to the music."

T.I.'s record company, Atlantic Records, had no comment concerning the rapper's release.

Lil Wayne Channels Jimi Hendrix For New Vibe Cover

Lil Wayne is himself a music icon, but on the cover of Vibe magazine's October/November issue, the YMCMB superstar channels the spirit of another. Sporting a regal red and gold-accented coat, similar to one that Jimi Hendrix famously wore, Weezy capped off his outfit with a black fedora and black sunglasses, finding inspiration in the legendary guitarist. In his interview, Wayne opened up about competition in rap, his feud with Jay-Z and Drake's success, and of course, MTV News got the exclusive scoop.

"There's no competition [with any artists]. Music isn't about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy. ... Everybody just happy to do music these days," Weezy said in an exclusive magazine excerpt obtained by MTV News. "There are no problems. That sh-- died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun ? feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys."

The quote is a bit contradictory considering Wayne threw a shot at Jay-Z on "I'm Good," a song off of his latest album, Tha Carter IV. The two have quietly been feuding for some time now, throwing subliminal darts in each other's direction, never actually acknowledging each other by name. When asked if he expected any backlash from the dis, Wayne stood confident.

"Well, I'm a man. I believe as a man, you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won't be any repercussions behind what I did," the rapper told Vibe.

Hip-hop beefs are a very small part of Wayne's dynamic. Vibe editor in chief Jermaine Hall said that the Young Money boss is more than just a rapper, citing his 2010 rock-inspired Rebirth album and his acoustic hit "How to Love" as examples of Tunechi's reach. It was his diversity and modern-day rock swag that led the magazine to use Hendrix as a muse.

"He was very into the Jimi Hendrix concept," Hall said of the shoot, which took place in Miami in early August. "I didn't know how far Wayne was willing to take it. But it just so happens that Jimi is also one of his idols and actually one of the people that influenced him to pick up a guitar and try to learn how to play. So he was 100 percent onboard with the concept."

In the issue, which also features Chris Rock, J. Cole and a story on Tupac's Hollywood impact, Vibe also got Weezy to open up about Drake's success. Is his competitive spirit fueled by Drizzy's accomplishments? Not in the least bit. "I don't look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn't my artist, then yeah, maybe," he said of their relationship. "But that's my artist. He's not [just] a friend. We're more than friends. It's business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I'm the guy's boss."

Weezy also gets political talking about his feelings on the riots that rocked London this past August. "All you could do is pray for the people that were dealing with the situation and hope for the best. As far as them blaming hip-hop, you can blame Jesus for things, so you can't really fault anybody for blaming someone or something. All you can do is hope for the best," he said in response to those who blamed rap for the political upheaval.

"Wayne is the type of artist ... obviously he's a rock star, he's loved in the 'hood, he's touching so many pockets around this country right now," Hall said of his latest cover subject. "It's what allows him to come out first week and do [almost a million]. He's not just dealing with one audience anymore."

Lady Gaga Has Three Heads In New Fashion Film

Lady Gaga and her pal, Thierry Mugler designer Nicola Formichetti, hit Paris Fashion Week once again, dropping a new film during the Mugler women's wear show on Wednesday.

As MTV News previously reported, Gaga and Formichetti teamed up with directors Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the project. On Thursday (September 29), fans not in Paris for Fashion Week got to see a special edit of the film when it premiered online.

The video, which mixes Mugler runway show footage with clips from the new Gaga film, offers another take on Mother Monster's ever-evolving persona. It opens on a close-up of Gaga's face, her teeth diamond-encrusted, as she says, "Sometimes, my heart sometimes feels so black ... and other days my heart feels like rainbows."

She flips her multicolored hair, saying, "I am Paris. We are Paris." In the next scene, a three-headed Gaga dances while a haunting track plays in the background. The image is reminiscent of the one that appeared on the cover of V magazine earlier this year. (As for the runway show, the clothes seen in the video are futuristic in style, in mostly muted tones.)

The directors, Inez and Vinoodh, worked with Gaga on her "Yo and I" fashion films and, so far, three have featured some of her alter egos, including the nymph, the bride and Yyi the mermaid. More "Yo and I" films are expected to premiere, but when and where remains a mystery.

Gaga and Mugler have collaborated before: Besides the fact that designer Formichetti is her stylist, he has also debuted some of her brand-new music at his shows. In January, she premiered a remix of her Born This Way track "Scheie" at a Mugler fashion show. Two months later, in March, Gaga not only walked the runway at a show, she debuted her song "Government Hooker"

The pop star is already back at work on her next album. Late Wednesday, she tweeted, "Almost #14MillionMonsters!! Thank you for making Born This Way really matter, this has been a crazy memorable year! Writing music today."

Justin Bieber Shoots Christmas-Themed 'Mistletoe' Video

Start decorating your Christmas tree! The holidays are coming early this year for Beliebers everywhere. On Wednesday, Justin Bieber tweeted updates about his music video for the lead single off his holiday-themed album, which drops in November.

Bieber and his team kept fans up-to-date about what was going down on set. "Video shoot today for Christmas album. #mistletoe," he wrote, before confirming the name of the track and a release date for the album. "On the set of #mistletoe. Christmas is coming early this year. #nov1st."

The shoot wasn't kept under wraps, and Bieber didn't mind the crowds that gathered to watch him celebrate the holidays a few months early. He also tweeted a photo of himself with Santa Claus and wrote, "doing the #dougie with santa. #real. haha. #mistletoe."

It seems everyone involved with the shoot is pretty stoked about it. "Getting incredible reports from the @justinbieber #mistletoe video ... seems like this is going to be a big song and a big video. #superstar," Scooter Braun tweeted, with director Alfredo Flores adding, "4am and we're still out here putting in work! This video is going to be magical! @justinbieber is killin it! #mistletoe."

While the album title hasn't been confirmed, online retailers like Amazon are already pre-selling the album with the tentative title Under the Mistletoe and a November 1 release date.

In addition to confirmed duets with the Band Perry and Boyz II Men, as well as rumored collabos with Taylor Swift and Sean Kingston, Bieber confirmed that his mentor Usher will also appear on the album.

"Just finished a late nt in the studio for the Christmas album ... it is OFFICIAL ... my big bro @UsherRaymondIV is on the album with me! #EPIC," he tweeted. "This duet with me and @USHERRAYMONDIV for #christmas is CRAZY!!!"

Lady Gaga Recalls 'Self-Indulgent' Drug Use In Jean-Paul Gaultier Special

Lady Gaga sat down with French fashion pioneer Jean-Paul Gaultier for a special that aired Monday night on the CW. The singer opened up to the fashion designer about her beginnings and what she calls her "self-indulgent" youth.

"I just was partying and being very self-indulgent and trying to find myself. In hindsight, it's so dangerous, and I don't encourage anyone to follow that path," she told the designer. "I remember my dad ... I was actually doing drugs in my parents' house one day and they didn't know I was in the bathroom. I came out, and my father could tell, and I just remember feeling so embarrassed and I quit instantly."

Despite her hard-partying ways, Gaga always maintained her pop star ambitions. She talked about quitting college, performing in small New York clubs and making the decision to take off her clothes during her performances to get everyone's attention.

"I knew that there was something I loved about the shock-art potential of what I could create," she said. "I like to liberate myself with my ability to change."

She later likened that philosophy to her look: "I still love trash glamour; it's so much of my favorite thing about getting dressed. I love the mixture of things that are really elegant with things that are really trashy."

That combination has made her a superstar. She explained, "My cultural contribution and social contribution was really an honor and I'm still so humbled by it. I hope I can continue to use my voice to make an impact on my generation."

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry Nab MTV EMA Nods

Lady Gaga is ruling the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards nominees list.

Mother Monster, who nabbed six EMA nominations, is followed by Katy Perry and Bruno Mars with four noms; Adele, Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds to Mars are each up for three.

Gaga is up for Best Female, Best Live Act, Best Pop Act, Best Song and Best Video for "Born This Way." She scored the sixth nom in the Biggest Fans category, an honor she'll share with her Little Monsters if she wins.

American and Canadian audiences can vote for the North American nominee for the Worldwide Act award, who will represent the continent at the EMAs against contenders from across the globe.

So, who will go head-to-head with the superstar? Adele's unstoppable "Rolling in the Deep," Bruno Mars' "Grenade," Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" (featuring Pitbull) and Katy Perry's "Firework" will go up against Gaga for Best Song.

For Best Pop, Britney Spears, Bieber, Perry, Rihanna and Gaga are set to face off, while Adele, Beyonc, J.Lo, Katy and Gaga also made the final cut for Best Female.

Battling it out in the Best Male category are Bruno Mars, David Guetta, Bieber, Kanye West and Eminem, who's also up for Best Hip Hop alongside Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West (a.k.a. the Throne), Pitbull and Snoop Dogg.

Coldplay, the Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Kings of Leon and Red Hot Chili Peppers are up for Best Rock. And the night's big prize, Best Video, features the most eclectic mix of nominees: Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," the Beastie Boys' "Make Some Noise," Beyonc's "Run the World (Girls)," Justice's "Civilization" and Gaga's "Born This Way."

On Monday morning (September 19), Bieber reacted to the nods on Twitter, writing, "Just got word that we got 3 MTV EMA Nominations for Best Male, Best Pop, Biggest Fans!! THANKS SO MUCH! LEt's VOTE!!!"

Well, those fans better take note. Beliebers voting in the Biggest Fans category will face off against his girlfriend Selena Gomez's followers, Thirty Second to Mars' devotees, Paramore's biggest admirers and, of course, Lady Gaga's Monsters.

The MTV Europe Music Awards air live on November 6 from Belfast, Ireland. For a complete list of nominees and to vote for your favorite artists, check out the MTV EMA website. Stick with MTV News as we roll out more information on performers and presenters.

New Kristen Stewart As 'Snow White' Photos Emerge

FROM MTV MOVIES: Kristen Stewart looks like she's ready for battle. Some photos of the "Twilight" star on the set of "Snow White and the Huntsman" have hit the Internet. In them, Stewart is wearing her previously teased armor as she films scenes at Marloes Sands Beach in Pembrokeshire Wales, U.K., this week.

Photos on Screenrant.com show the actress riding a white horse alongside a group of extras dressed as medieval soldiers. They are riding through the water for what appears to be some sort of battle scene.

In some on-set candids, the ponytail-sporting actress laughs and walks around the set of the Rupert Sanders-directed flick. Stewart recently debuted her longer locks for the film at London Fashion Week. No signs of co-stars Charlize Theron (the Evil Queen), Chris Hemsworth (the Huntsman) or Sam Claflin (Prince Charming) in the new photos. The film is expected to open June 1, 2012.

Anne Hathaway's Catwoman Isn't First Controversial Costume

Nothing causes a storm of online controversy like the first big reveal of an updated superhero costume ? particularly when said costume is on a glamorous Hollywood starlet.

Case in point: the paparazzi photo snapped on the Los Angeles set of "The Dark Knight Rises" that features a catsuit-clad Anne Hathaway in between scenes. The firestorm around the photo, as well as the detailed analysis that followed, reminded us of some other costumes that received the same obsessive treatment.

MTV News reached out to Caleb Goellner, senior editor at Comics Alliance, for his thoughts on past lightning-rod getups.

Halle Berry's Catwoman
All things considered, Hathaway's costume has nothing on Halle Berry's barely there, frequently mocked ensemble from 2004's much-maligned "Catwoman," which went on to win four Razzies for Worst Picture, Worst Actress, Worst Director and Worst Screenplay.

"If somebody would've asked me, 'Hey, you think it'd be feasible to fight crime wearing nothing but a few handfuls of random belts from a TJ Maxx after-Thanksgiving sale bargain bin circa 1984?' In, like, 2003, I might've said, 'Maybe,' " Goellner admitted. "I confess to not being open-minded enough for that response in a post-'Catwoman' world, though."

Adrianne Palicki's Wonder Woman
There is a decent argument to be made that the violent reactions to the costume worn briefly by Adrianne Palicki were a large part of the reason David E. Kelley's TV series failed to get picked up. Also, from what we know about the pilot, it was not good.

"Palicki's costume seems like it was scrutinized more for its choice of materials than its cut," Goellner said. "Nobody really agrees on what Wonder Woman is/should be, but fans seemed united in their cries for a TV costume with a less vinyl-y sheen."

George Clooney and Val Kilmer's Batmen
When Warner Bros. hired Joel Schumacher to direct "Batman Forever" and then "Batman & Robin," they wanted him to make the films less Tim Burton-style dark and more family-friendly. The result? Nipples were inexplicably added to the Batsuits worn by Val Kilmer and George Clooney.

"In a world where rubber costumes often feature fake abs, adding nipples to a crime fighting suit is pretty logical," Goellner said, tongue firmly in cheek. "The problem fans had with this outfit stemmed purely from the fact that, in the comics, Bruce Wayne has trained his nipples to go into sleep mode while fighting crime, diverting calories to other parts of his body as needed. This continuity error, however minor, really distracted from Joel Schumacher's otherwise completely authentic filmmaking choices."

Ryan Reynolds' Green Lantern
The debate about CGI is ongoing: How much is too much? How much is too little? Shouldn't we expect all superhero-themed movies to be computer-generated spectacles? When the first photo of Ryan Reynolds as a green-suited Hal Jordan appeared, there were accusations of ruin and overuse of Photoshop.

Said Goellner: "Green Lantern's organic look had some feeling like he was more of a Slim Goodbody stand-in than a proper space cop. Others, who accepted the rationality of the costume as a manifestation of alien technology, were still bummed by its lack of depth and overall painted-on look. Everyone else was too busy hoping for a cosmic 'Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place' reunion to notice."

X-Men Suit Up in Black Leather
For those who grew up with their crime-fighting mutants sporting the classic blue-and-yellow suits as seen on the pages of the Marvel comic, as well as the animated cartoon, the all-black ensembles worn by the cast in Bryan Singer's 2000 hit ruffled many a fanboy's feathers back in the day ? so much so that Singer added an homage to the fans via Cyclops' cheeky line: "What would you prefer, yellow spandex?"

"Given the X-Men's history of trying out new uniforms in the comics, fans weren't supremely bothered by X-Men's low-key combat suits," Goellner said. "Then again, the state of the superhero film was so abysmal in 2000 that fans were open to anything that was more 'Blade' than 'Batman & Robin.' It also probably would've been a bad idea to put Hugh Jackman in a mask, when everyone knows the real star of the 'X' franchise has been his dreamy peepers."

Bonus: Barbara Eden's Jeannie
Back in 1965, nothing caused more controversy on network television than Barbara Eden's scandalous costume on "I Dream of Jeannie" ? so scandalous that network execs made the costume designers add extra inches to the waistline so Eden's belly button wouldn't be exposed.

Goellner's final word: "Her costume is a delight, but everybody knows that real genies are blue, have goatees and kind of talk like that guy who starred in 'Hook.' "

Check out everything we've got on "The Dark Knight Rises."

'Prometheus' Scribe Damon Lindelof Talks Robots, Slimy Corporations & Ridley Scott Collab

The official "Prometheus" synopsis has been unleashed, and as cool as it is ? A discovery about the origins of humanity! An intergalactic voyage! An extraterrestrial battle with genocide-level implications! ? the description still leaves much about Ridley Scott's "Alien"-DNA project unknown.

All in good time. Back at San Diego Comic-Con, though, "Prometheus" writer/producer Damon Lindelof kicked us a ton of info about his collaboration with Scott, the nature of the roles Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron play in the film, and who might actually turn out to be the hero-heir to Sigourney Weaver's Ripley. With the "Prometheus" synopsis on the web, we figured now is the right time to roll out our interview. Read on for insight into the 2012 flick, in Lindelof's own words.

Collaborating with Ridley
"Having done 'Lost' for six years, I felt this tremendous responsibility because I'm one of the visionaries behind the show, so there's no safety net below you. When I got the call [from Ridley] I had this tremendous amount of relief and comfort that Ridley Scott is going to be the safety net. What ensued was a series of conversations where I was kind of interviewing Ridley to get a sense of the movie he wanted to make. Once I got a sense of that, then it was really about channeling that idea so that I was realizing his vision, as opposed to imposing my vision on it. That was my perspective. His perspective was more kind and generous in terms of ideas that I brought to the movie. But really everything I was coming up with was just a different spin on what he was saying to me."

Fassbender's Role
"He plays a robot. One of the things that evokes the idea of 'Blade Runner' is, 'What does the movie look like from the robot's point of view?' If you were to ask him, 'What do you think about all of this? What's going on? What do you think about these humans who are around you?,' wouldn't it be cool if we found a way for that robot to answer those questions. When you cast a guy like Fassbender, who's going to bring a lot more to it than [makes clichd robot movements] ? that was me doing the robot, I don't know if you could tell ? it's not Anthony Daniels. All due respect. He's phenomenal. But C-P3O?"

Theron's Role
"Her character's name is Meredith Vickers and she's sort of a corporate entity. That's another one of the familiar things from the 'Alien' movies ? that there are corporate interests in play. I feel like Charlize brought a new spin on that old variation. It's a remix ?. I don't think she's slimy [like Paul Reiser's character in 'Aliens']. She's not the fast-talking, snake-oil face of the company. By the way, "What company is she a face of?," I think is a big part of the fun. As we were developing the script, she had some really cool ideas that made it not the suit you're used to."

The Ensemble
"I think one of the really cool things about the first 'Alien,' if you watch it cold, Ripley is kind in the background like one of the crew members, and you're like, 'Skerrit's [who played Captain Dallas] the hero of the movie,' and he's one of the first to go. And then you're like, 'It's [the engineer played by] Harry Dean Stanton.' And, no, he's gone? and suddenly Sigourney Weaver, in the last 40 minutes of the movie, is the only one left alive. I think the idea of building a really cool ensemble and again presenting the audience with like, 'Who's going to be left standing at the end of this movie? Maybe all of them. Probably not,' [that's] part of the fun of what we set out to do."

Tell us what you think in the comments section and on Twitter!

'Dead Island' Movie, Inspired By Video Game Trailer, Lands At Lionsgate

"Dead Island," the Techland and Deep Silver survival horror video game that hit consoles earlier this month, isn't finished with its global infection campaign. The gaming world, it seems, is not big enough to contain this zombie apocalypse: now, "Dead Island" is set to devour the big screen as well.

Lionsgate has optioned the "Dead Island" movie rights from Deep Silver. But by the sound of things, it seems that the main inspiration for the "Dead Island" film won't be the game itself, but the preliminary "Dead Island" trailer that went viral earlier this year.

"Like the hundreds of journalists and millions of fans who were so passionate and vocal about the Dead Island trailer, we too were awestruck," said Lionsgate's Joe Drake in a press release, which notes that "the trailer will serve as [the movie's] primary creative inspiration." The trailer can be seen here in case you need a refresher.

The story of the video game itself, of course, has little to nothing to do with the "Dead Island" trailer's plot, which chronicles the final few moments of a little girl's life in rewind. The idea of telling a "Dead Island" film from finish to start is kind of cool ? sort of the "Memento" of zombie flicks, if you will ? but is it a misstep to try to recapture that trailer's lightning? Is it even possible to recapture that lightning? Seems to me that the film would be better served feasting on the meat of the actual game, but admittedly, I haven't played it just yet.

If you've played the game already, what do you think: is the trailer enough to sustain a full-fledged "Dead Island" movie, or should producers take a closer look at the game itself for their inspiration? If you aren't familiar with the source material, take a look at 20 minutes of "Dead Island" gameplay footage courtesy of MTV Multiplayer:

'New Class': Julianne Hough Is The Triple Threat!

She can sing, she can dance, and she can act: Julianne Hough has got it all. And that's exactly why she makes our New Class roster as this year's Triple Threat, backed up on the big screen by her work in "Burlesque" and the upcoming "Footloose."

After the jump, see what Hough has been up to and where she's headed over the course of her voyage through Hollywood!

Starting at Hogwarts
You might think her first major acting credit goes to "Burlesque" in 2010, but Julianne made her way to the big screen much earlier than that. She has a brief, uncredited appearance in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" as an unnamed Hogwarts schoolgirl. Not exactly Oscar-winning material, but anyone who kicks things off with "Potter" is off to a good start!

Kick Off Your Sunday Shoes
Having already appeared opposite singing legends Cher and Christina Aguilerra, Hough is off to her own leading lady status in this year's remake of "Footloose." She'll star opposite Kenny Wormald, Dennis Quaid and others in the retelling of the 1984 musical, which looks to add quite a bit of modern day context to an already classic story.

Rocking for "Ages"
But Julianne's voyage through musical cinema doesn't stop there. She's already locked and loaded for a part in "Rock of Ages," based on the Broadway musical of the same name. Just like "Footloose," Julianne is taking center stage, this time playing the love interest opposite Diego Boneta. She'll have plenty of company from an eclectic roster of co-stars, of course, including Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and more.

Vote for your New Class student body president in the poll below!

'Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)' Trailer: Facing Our Fears

A while back Donnie Wahlberg told me he watched the first "Human Centipede" and "faced" his own fears about a psychopath who mutilates humans and makes them into, you guessed it, human centipedes. Witness his words of encouragement for yourself...

Inspired by Donnie's courage (and because Movies Blog editor Josh Wigler forced me to), I decided to "face the fear" and watch the new trailer for "The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)," which premiered online last night. I did this for all of you. Behold my real time reactions past the jump!

:11: This doesn't look like it's gonna end well. Don't let that pudgy dude sign that lease, man. Please. Don't. Let. Him.

:18: Is this over yet? I already feel queasy. Also: never rent films made by that psychopath scientist dude. Why? BECAUSE HE LIKES TO MAKE HUMAN CENTIPEDES.

:35: His mother is worried about him? So are we!

:48: TWELVE PERSON CENTIPEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Side note: What does that mean about your son, mom? It means your son's a crazy, crazy human? who loves centipedes, made of humans.

1:12: Think that dude's in a passing phase, huh? Oh, we've all been in that passing phase WHERE HUMANS ARE MADE INTO A GIANT CENTIPEDE!!!!!!!!!! Oh, that's right. We haven't.

1:32: Is this a perverted film, mom? WHY YES IT IS!!!!!!! And, mom, not the sexy kind. Unless you think combining humans into a centipede is sexy, which, by the way, I don?t.

1:50: That's a lot of duct tape and weapons. Someone call Benson and Stabler. STAT. I think we're gonna need a 'bus. Side note: thanks Josh Wigler for making me watch this. NOT!

Now that I've done this? you should too. Face your own fears and watch the trailer. "The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)" opens October 7. I'm only going if Donnie and Wigler are paying.

'New Class': Julianne Hough Is The Triple Threat!

Emma Stone, Elizabeth Banks: The 20 Funniest Women In Movies Today

FROM NEXTMOVIE: For women, breaking into comedy is a tough enough nut to crack without the chauvinistic "women aren't funny" comments. Not only is it not true, but with a male-dominated writers' field in Hollywood (73 percent of the WGA's film writers are men) it's only too clear that if women aren't funny on-screen, it's probably because the only funny thing they had to do in the script was fall down and go boom boom.

The widely accepted paradigm in movies (not to mention TV) is having an out-of-shape or mildly attractive but funny husband and his hot, not-as-funny wife. And it's getting stale, baby. In order for a woman to go against that grain takes massive ovaries, the ability to generate her own material, and absolutely no fear of looking stupid.

Here are our picks for the 20 funniest women working in movies today.

'Terra Nova' Reviews: Must-See TV Or Soon To Be Extinct?

Monday night's two-hour debut of "Terra Nova" sits unwatched in my DVR, a victim of a new puppy who needs far too much attention and then my wife's insistence that if we were going to watch any TV it'd have nothing to do with dinosaurs and everything to do with finally catching up on Leslie Knope's political ambitions in Pawnee.

The day after, the web is abuzz over "Terra Nova," though not necessarily for reasons that make me think my wife and my dog kept me from being an early adopter of a show I'll be itching to check out each week. I plan to watch tonight, but I'll approach the DVR with caution. Anyone under the impression that Fox has served up a "Lost"-like time-travel mystery should now be fully aware the show is trying to attract not just geeks but the four-quadrant demographics so important in Hollywood (and mega-budget TV series).

"A rollicking, old-fashioned action-adventure sci-fantasy family saga, 'Terra Nova' strove mightily to offer something for everyone," wrote Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly. "You could feel the strain 'Terra Nova' was under to make this show appeal to as many demos as possible."

The show, it seems, is as much "Swiss Family Robinson" as it is "Stargate": a family in the year 2149 flees their dying earth and travels 80 million years back in time to our world in the time of the dinosaurs. There are action set-pieces, but also much time spent on Jim (Jason O?Mara) and his wife Elisabeth's (Shelley Conn) strained marriage and the difficulties of taking their three kids on a road trip of epic proportions. For me, the key for "Terra Nova" will be how it handles its central mythology.

"[I]n a nice 'Mad Max'-ish twist, there are some renegade forces out there as well, trying to take down Terra Nova," explains Tim Goodman of The Hollywood Reporter. "They are the Sixers ? so called because they came in the 6th Pilgrimage. This is another welcome element to Terra Nova. Who sent the Sixers from the future? Why do they want to kill Taylor [Stephen Lang] and stop Terra Nova?"

Any talk of a mythological component in a TV show leaves me a little intrigued and a lot wary (and weary): for every "Lost" there are a half-dozen time sucks like "Jericho" (dribbling out its reveals too slowly), "4400" (uncorking its big reveal and then finding it had nothing left to say) and "The Event" (just, honestly, a freaking mess from top to bottom). The recapper over at Vulture neatly summarizes all these thoughts as they relate to Fox's new show.

"[The] pilot was at its most tantalizing when it teased us with details of the Sixers," Chadwick Matlin wrote. "The man versus dino-nature stuff is fine, but if the show is going to grab us, it'll be because we don't know whose side to take. None of the principals in 'Terra Nova' are compelling enough to earn our allegiance by default. By the end of the episode, I was already rooting for a Sixers coup, if only so life in Terra Nova would get a little more interesting. If there?s anything I trust the writers to flesh out, it's the Sixers-Nova conflict: nothing makes better TV than two warring tribes. Just ask 'Lost.'"

Lady Gaga Goes Topless In Latest 'You And I' Fashion Film

Two down, four more to go. On Tuesday night, Lady Gaga tweeted out her latest "Yo and I" fashion film. After portraying "Nymph" in the first one, Gaga portrays the black-clad Bride in the latest installment, which she tweeted out to her Little Monsters.

The Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin-directed clip features Gaga wearing her outfit from the opening scenes of the proper "Yo and I" video in which she stands at the cornfield crossroads.

During the two-minute, 28-second clip, Gaga dances around in her black chiffon outfit, slowly stripping away her blond wig and couture. By the end, she's topless, with her hands covering her breasts. Some of Gaga's monsters and pals make an appearance in the video as well, including blink-and-miss-it appearances from her video co-star "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney and her stylist Nicola Formichetti.

The black-and-white clip also has funny, kitschy moments showing Gaga smiling, laughing and making funny faces for the camera. The videos were shot while Mother Monster and her entire Haus were in Nebraska earlier this summer working on the Laurieann Gibson-directed clip.

Each of the six films will focus on one of Gaga's characters in the original video, which includes her mermaid incarnation, Yuyi and her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. "We built a studio in a pigsty and worked for three days with her constantly coming off set to us and filming with us and taking pictures," Inez told MTV News. "What's incredible in there is that this is Gaga as herself, in the character that she is, related to the 'Yo and I' video, and it's purely her."

'Dancing With The Stars' Says Ciao To Elisabetta Canalis

In the final minutes of Tuesday night's "Dancing With the Stars" elimination show, it was George Clooney's ex-girlfriend who was given the boot.

Elisabetta Canalis and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, were eliminated after landing in the bottom three alongside David Arquette and Kym Johnson and Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer.

The Italian actress and host seemed a bit jarred when it was revealed she was the contestant leaving in week two, considering that she and her partner had impressed the judges with a big improvement from last week.

"I'm not going to say much. I'm just going to say this: It's not great, but it was better than last week," head judge Len Goodman said before scoring her Monday. Tonioli disagreed, saying, "The gears were grinding, the engines were hot. The pistols were pumping. Keep working."

Canalis ultimately scored 21 out of 30, which placed her right in the middle of the pack and above Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Arquette and Johnson, Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya and Bono and Schwimmer.

Canalis, who looked to be holding back tears, expressed how much she enjoyed her short time on the show: "I want to thank everybody, because they made me come here! Thanks to the public and everybody who voted for us. It was a great experience."

Chmerkovskiy, a newcomer who also is Maksim's younger brother, said he was very proud of his celeb partner. "I wish I did better for you. But I'm very lucky to be here," he said.

Styles P To Drop By 'RapFix Live'!

The second episode of the second season of MTV's "RapFix Live" is guaranteed to be another amazing show thanks to special guest Styles P.

Last week, Philly rapper Freeway came through and chopped it up about his past, current and future endeavors. This week's invitee is a New York City hip-hop veteran who also has plenty of news to share. Styles P, a.k.a. the Ghost, is a member of the LOX (with partners Sheek Louch and Jadakiss) but he has enjoyed a successful solo career too.

After dropping a couple of official mixtapes last year (as well as authoring a book titled "Invincible"), the Yonkers MC is preparing to release his fourth proper solo album, Master of Ceremonies, on October 4. Recently, he shot the video for the album's lead single "Harsh," with Rick Ross and Busta Rhymes.

Apart from his music business ? he was featured on Rick Ross' 2010 smash hit "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" ? Styles recently opened a juice bar, Juices for Life, in New York City's the Bronx. Styles and his D-Block crew are also at work on a collaborative project with members of Wu-Tang Clan (Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and more) called Wu-Block.

Also appearing on Wednesday's edition of "RapFix Live" is Cash Money Records rapper Glasses Malone, who'll stop by to premiere his new video for "No Sympathy."

"I wish I could sing sometimes, but I can't, so what I try to do is keep carving my niche at this gangsta sh--," Malone told MTV News recently. "I figure, I can't top Drake doin' what he's doin'. Drake is that n---a, he got it together. Wayne is that n---a, but I could make them n---as like, 'Man that n---a G's sh-- hard.' And once you do that, you win."

"No Sympathy" features Malone's fellow Cali MC on the come up Jay Rock and appears on Glasses' just-released debut, Beach Cruiser. Jay Rock joined host Sway on the "RFL" couch earlier this month and participated in an epic freestyle cipher, along with Freddie Gibbs and Kendrick Lamar, at the end of the live stream.

Tweet your questions for Styles and Glasses Malone to @MTVNews with the hashtag #RapFixLive.

Lady Gaga Plays Yuyi In Third 'You And I' Fashion Film

Three down, three to go. Lady Gaga released her third "Yo and I" fashion film, and this time she's portraying her mermaid incarnation, Yyi.

The previous two videos took a closer look at her Nymph character and her Bride character from the original, full-length "Yo and I" video.

The latest installment features a montage of behind-the-scenes shots of Gaga making her way out of her trailer as she is carried around the Nebraska set of her video to the barn where a majority of the video takes place. She's carried through the cornfields of Nebraska by two crew members.

Gaga is seen gyrating on the all-white set as Yyi, bouncing on her director's chair and flopping around like the fish out of water her character is. The Inez-and-Vinoodh-directed video also features cameos by a bare-chested cowboy, one of the crew members who carried her around in the behind-the-scenes footage, and Nicola Formichetti, the singer's longtime stylist and Mugler creative director.

The clip closes out as Yyi-fied Gaga and her crew make their way into the barn, where all the original "Yo and I" magic took place. "It's like she really gives so much," Inez recalled of shooting the clips. "Sometimes we were shooting, it was like 3 a.m., and she's been on set forever and still you get an incredible performance ? full of fire.

"It was exciting, it was intense. It was 108 degrees, but it was exciting because there's so much energy. We had great people around us," the fashion photographer added.

In addition to its Web debut late Tuesday, Formichetti tweeted an invitation to a premiere event for the new "Yo and I" fashion film held at a New York pop-up store. The video premiered there on the eve of the store's closing.

Lady Gaga And Cher Make 'History' On 'Greatest Thing'

For all the Lady Gaga and Cher fans out there who fainted at the news that two of pop music's biggest stars have teamed up on a soon-to-be released record, your wait is almost over!

Cher herself confirmed via Twitter back in August that we would hear "The Greatest Thing" sometime in September, and because the month is quickly coming to an end, we should only have a few more days to wait to hear the highly anticipated track.

To hold you over until the release, MTV News recently caught up with RedOne, the producer mastermind behind the soon-to-be hit, to find out how the song came to be and why everyone will love it.

"[Gaga and I] recorded the song a few years ago, and we were always in the studio enjoying that song. It's weird we never did anything with it," he said. "So I remember my management and Cher's management were trying to get us together, and I thought, 'Oh my God, I'd love to meet Cher, just to meet her!' And so I met her, I played her some songs, and I played her 'The Greatest Thing,' and she loved it. She said, 'This is my song,' I said, 'Yes, it's your song.' "

RedOne said he let Gaga know via text message, and she was ecstatic. Then, about a month later, Red received a text from Gaga that inspired an epic pairing.

"I cut the vocals with Cher first, and I was in Madrid and got a text from Gaga saying, 'I'm thinking about jumping on the song in the remix,' " he recalled. "I was like, 'No, you should jump on the original! Make it a duet.' She said, 'Oh yes, OK, absolutely,' and then I spoke to Cher, and it became a party.

"Everybody loved it," he added. "Gaga on it, Cher, two big icons, [they are] part of music history. So it happened. I'm very happy to be a part of this."

Of course, RedOne wouldn't reveal when we'll hear the track, only that it's coming soon.
