Exclusive 'That's My Boy' Clip Showcases Naughty Teacher

In a teacher/student relationship, there's a line you're always told not to cross. Movies, however, can not only cross those lines, but hurdle over them. Such is the case with Adam Sandler's "That's My Boy."

The film centers on Donny (Sandler), who knocked up his teacher (Eva Amurri) when he was just a teenager and raised his son Han Solo Berger (Andy Samberg) as a single parent until Han's 18th birthday. After a financial mishap, Donny reemerges in Han's life right before his wedding and must face the consequences of his appalling parenting skills.

During MTV's second annual Sneak Peek Week leading up to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, Samberg and his co-stars hit Universal's CityWalk to premiere an exclusive clip from the film. The never-before-seen footage takes you back to Donny's school days and reveals that the whole affair started with his teacher.

If you enjoyed the clip, don't miss the rest of our Sneak Peek Week action with stars from "Magic Mike" and "Rock of Ages," all leading up to the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET.

Madonna Targets Lady Gaga With 'Express Yourself'/ 'Born This Way' Mashup

Madonna's diva rivalry with Lady Gaga may be taken up a notch when her MDNA tour kicks off Thursday at Tel Aviv, Israel's Ramat Gan Stadium. In new rehearsal footage, the 53-year-old legend is seen singing a mashup of her "Express Yourself" and Gaga's "Born This Way" that concludes with a few lines from Madonna's copycat-shaming "She's Not Me."

Last year, when Lady Gaga released her hit single "Born This Way," controversy erupted over the song's similarity to Madonna's "Express Yourself." (Never mind that much of the resemblance is rooted in both songs' use of a pretty common disco chord progression.) At first, things seemed cool between the two singers. They'd always gotten along publicly, and Gaga told Jay Leno that M's camp reached out to say all was well in the diva-verse with regard to the songs' similarities (something later denied by Madonna's people).

The whole thing appeared to have blown over until earlier this year, when Madonna was promoting her movie "W.E." and her Super Bowl halftime performance during an ABC News interview. Madonna was asked what she thought of the comparisons, and in response she called Lady Gaga "reductive."

Gaga's been pretty quiet throughout, but it's hard not to wonder if she'll stay that way once word of this latest swipe makes its way to her ears. (Gaga is currently in Asia on her Born This Way Ball tour, and she was recently forced to cancel a planned show in Indonesia after receiving threats from fundamentalist Islamic groups in the country.)

New leaked footage from rehearsals for Madonna's own road show showcases a reportedly planned mashup of "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way," and while the resemblance between the two songs remains as striking as ever, that's not the real story. Just those two songs layered together could have been fun: The two stars certainly have overlapping fanbases, who no doubt would have delighted in the winking acknowledgement of M's influence on Gaga. But Madonna complicates things by concluding the medley with a few lines from her Hard Candy track "She's Not Me," a song about Madonna being emulated by another woman.

The inclusion of "She's Not Me" makes the medley seem like yet another scathing dig at Gaga. It's unknown whether Madonna was just goofing around during rehearsals or whether she plans to include that final digging refrain throughout her tour.

Is Madonna taking things too far, or are we misreading things? Good-natured ribbing or mean-spirited digging? You tell us in the comments below!

New 'Bourne Legacy' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Of all the summer's potential blockbusters, "The Bourne Legacy," the Matt Damon-less continuation of the spy series, has the most to prove. Series tend not to fare well once the star exits, but the latest trailer for "The Bourne Legacy" is making us believe that it could buck the trend.

Here are our five key scenes from the new "Bourne Legacy" trailer.

Weisz's Role Revealed
Until now, most of the promo material has focused squarely on Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross and how there was "never just one." One of the first things this full trailer does is formally introduce us to Marta, the doctor Rachel Weisz plays in the film. (Her hand appeared briefly in the first trailer.) When Edward Norton's Agent Byer decided to liquidate the operation, both Marta and Cross find themselves in harm's way. That's the set-up that eventually brings them together to go on the run.

Connections to the Past
Perhaps the most intriguing element of the new trailer besides how badass Renner is has to be the clear connections to the previous film, "The Bourne Ultimatum." Both Corey Johnson, who plays the government crony, and Paddy Considine, who didn't survive the events of "Ultimatum," show up in the trailer. It appears that the events of "Ultimatum" and Bourne's appearance in Manhattan spur the events of "Legacy."

Jason Bourne Again
Speaking of Jason Bourne, there's Matt Damon's face right there in the trailer. The actor has made it clear that he himself won't appear in the newest addition to the series he led through three films, but his headshot does briefly appear on a newscast in the trailer. Director Tony Gilroy told us during our Summer Movie Preview that Bourne's presence would be felt in the early parts of the "Legacy." "What happens in 'Ultimatum' is really the spark that's blowing open the door to this movie because the Jason Bourne story is exploding out into the public," he said. "Being impossible to conceal any further is causing problems for this much larger conspiracy. 'Ultimatum' plays in the background of the very beginning of this film."

Agent Aaron "Moto" Cross
As with the teaser trailer, a good portion of the full trailer focuses on the chromosomal enhancements that have been made to Aaron Cross. He heals quickly, and he can grind a railing with a freakin' motocross bike. Was one of the "inconsistencies" within Treadstone that the characters talk about in the trailer the inability to grind a railing with a freakin' motocross bike?

Matt Who?
If this trailer does one thing particularly well, it silences all of Renner's doubters. His action on display here is definitely on par with the kung-fu antics of Matt Damon. Whether he's on the bike or sliding between buildings or emerging from freezing water with a full beard, Renner looks poised to take the reins in style.

Be sure to see how Renner's "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" co-star, Tom Cruise, fares when he goes up for two MTV Movie Awards, Best Gut-Wrenching Performance and Best Fight, this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET live on MTV.

Nicholas Sparks' 'Safe Haven' Casts Julianne Hough, Josh Duhamel

Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel are looking for a "Safe Haven" in the latest big-screen adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks book.

According to the studio, Relativity Media, production will begin next month in Southport, North Carolina, with "The Cider House Rules" helmer Lasse Hallstrom set to direct. The studio is eyeing a February 8, 2013, release date.

"I'm thrilled that Josh and Julianne have agreed to come aboard 'Safe Haven' ? it's hard to think of an actor better-suited to play the character of Alex than Josh, and Julianne will bring a combination of vulnerability and strength to the role of Katie," Sparks said in a statement. "They are both such talented and charismatic individuals ? and best of all, they have tremendous personal chemistry, which is essential for this film."

The film follows a young woman with a mysterious history who moves to a small North Carolina town. After an initial reluctance to form bonds in the town, she falls for Alex, a widow with two kids. However, her past comes back to haunt her and she must use love to deal with her personal struggles.

Hough will sit down with MTV News on Friday for Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week, along with "Rock of Ages" castmate Diego Boneta and director Adam Shankman. Not only will she chat about her lead role in the film, but she'll also debut an exclusive clip from the June 15 release.

Of course, Sneak Peek Week is really just a sneak peek into all the fun set to go down Sunday at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The show will be hosted by Russell Brand and feature performances by Fun., the Black Keys, Martin Solveig and Wiz Khalifa. It all goes down from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Kristen Stewart Recalls Her 'First Time' With 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'

You may recall a little MTV "After Hours" segment called "Erotica," in which Josh Horowitz had the cast of "Snow White and the Huntsman" read an excerpt from "Fifty Shades of Grey."

While Chris Hemsworth could barely make it through the reading, Kristen Stewart laughed at some of the lines, Charlize Theron attempted to act out the scene and Sam Claflin wooed us with his luscious tone.

When we caught up with Stewart and Claflin again for MTV's Sneak Peek Week, leading up to Sunday's MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. ET, we asked the "Twilight" star if reading the erotic tale sparked her interest in the role of the timid Ana Steele.

"They should ask me!" she joked. "No, I'm kidding. [During 'After Hours'], that was the first time I read it."

Stewart is currently up for two Movie Awards along with her "Breaking Dawn" co-stars. Through the Movie of the Year and Best Kiss categories, she has a shot at the coveted Golden Popcorn. Voting is still open, so head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to make your voice heard! And who knows, maybe "Snow White" will grab some nominations next year. Until then, we're pretty sure Sam Claflin has a future in erotica books on tape.

"To be honest, having watched that back, I took it way too seriously," the actor laughed as he recalled the "After Hours" video. "All four of us did very different readings, but I actually properly read it. I got really into it."

Stewart didn't disagree. She gave it a good try, but Claflin is unbeatable.

"What happened to Sam before he was an actor? I was trying to get a job," he joked. "I will do anything for money."

Horowitz brought out all three books in the "Fifty Shades" trilogy wrapped in a ribbon for both actors as a going-away present. Now they have their own copies of E L James' series to take with them as they travel. Though don't expect to see KStew reading her copy as she jets off to and from LAX.

"When people read this on airplanes," she said, "I'm like, 'Whoa. Take that blanket off your lap! Get off the plane. Sick!' "

Claflin, however, has a different reaction.

"I'm like, 'Can I borrow that after you?' "

Movie Awards Nominee Oliver Cooper Insists He's 'America's Dirtbag'

Few people out there would actively go out of their way to declare themselves the greatest dirtbag of the year. Then again, few people are Oliver Cooper.

The "Project X" breakout star is one of five nominees for the inaugural Best On-Screen Dirtbag award at the MTV Movie Awards this year. He's also the only one of the nominees doing everything he possibly can to convince the voting masses that he's the one destined for Golden Popcorn glory. In his latest campaign video, Cooper calls out Best On-Screen Dirtbag frontrunner Bryce Dallas Howard, saying that "the prettiest racist that [critics] have ever seen" would easily win an award for Best On-Screen Racist? but when it comes to the Dirtbag department, Cooper feels it's his "Project X" character Costa that deserves the win.

"Only one of the nominees was universally reviled [this year] as a dirtbag," Cooper's voice declares in his latest campaign video. "He was the only nominee who stole drugs from a drug dealer, put a midget in an oven, betrayed all of his friends and burnt down an entire neighborhood. Oliver Cooper is America's dirtbag."

See more of what he had to say in the video below.

Hard to argue with that logic! But the choice is yours, good voters. Is Cooper enough of a dirtbag to secure your vote? Make your voice heard by voting today, and let us know what you think in the comments section or on Twitter!

Lady Gaga Under Fire After 'PopStarsDontEat' Comment

What was clearly intended as a jokey tweet lamenting the rigorous diet and exercise routine she is currently undertaking to prepare for her 110-date Born This Way Ball has put Lady Gaga in the crosshairs of some angry fans and eating-disorder organizations. On Tuesday, the pop star tweeted, "Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay." Some fans thought the tweet wasn't exactly keeping with the pop star's "You're perfect the way you are" message and that her choice of the "#PopStarsDontEat" hashtag could be misinterpreted as encouraging eating disorders because she posits herself as a role model to her fans.

The National Eating Disorder Association even weighed in, hitting its own Twitter account to write, "Huh? This is the same person who recently implored girls to stop dieting?"

MTV Buzzworthy has an Open Letter To Lady Gaga While it seems clear that Gaga was joking ? who hasn't dove into a salad wishing it was something else? ? the comment does appear out of character for the star, who has spoken publicly about her own struggles with an eating disorder as a teen. Using that particular hashtag might have been a poor choice, but it's safe to say Lady Gaga wasn't knowingly making light of eating disorders ? and, otherwise, wasn't she mostly just encouraging exercise and healthy eating? Gaga tweets often about all sort of less-than-healthful habits, from drinking ("after 12 margaritas my phone was confiscated") to, well, other things ("princess xena of xanaxland has lil secrets in her inbox"). Why she is being scrutinized for making an observation about something we already know ? that celebrities engage in intense fitness regimens to meet the unrealistic expectations placed on their appearance ? is kind of a mystery. But, you know, totally appropriate and necessary reason for outrage, everyone. Sound off on Gaga's #PopSingersDontEat tweet in the comments below!

Lady Gaga To Launch Little Monsters Social Networking Site

Lady Gaga is already the queen of social media, almost 25 million Twitter followers. So it just goes to reason that once she's conquered that medium she would go on to create her own social networking site. Little Monsters, a site built around Gaga's fanbase, is in invite-only beta testing mode right now.

According to Mashable, an early look at the site shows some similarity to the popular Pinterest mobile app that allows users to drop pins on locations and things they like. It also uses elements of the Reddit site by allowing fans to rate cool content that they like. Little Monsters will focus on fans sharing and creating photos and videos and allowing users to hype content that they are into. The site is the first one launched by Backplane, a tech startup co-founded by Gaga's manager, Troy Carter.

"Backplane is about bringing together communities and Gaga's community just so happens to be the community we're using to learn about proper functionality," CEO Matt Michelsen said about the company that will focus on building online communities. "We think we can really change the world."

Backplane is partially funded by Gaga and the company plans to launch Little Monsters out of beta at an undetermined time and spin off more sites this year. It hopes to leverage Gaga's massive online following to draw users to the new sites. To date, in addition to her massive Twitter base, Gaga has 330,000 followers on Google+, more than 50 million Facebook fans and more than one billion views on YouTube?.

Justin Bieber To Star In First Prime-Time Network Special

He's conquered the charts, the Internet and arenas all around the world, so it just makes sense that Justin Bieber is bringing his swag to prime-time. The "Boyfriend" singer will star in his first network special on June 21 when NBC airs "Justin Bieber Believe: All Around the World."

The hour-long show will give Beliebers a behind-the-scenes look at Justin's global promotional tour in support of his upcoming Believe album, using a combination of documentary and music performance footage. "We're thrilled to air Justin Bieber's first network special," said Doug Vaughan, SVP of Special Programs and Late Night for NBC in a statement announcing the show, which will air from 8-9 p.m. ET/PT. "We'll have unprecedented access to Justin as our cameras film not only his performances, but his every move on this global tour --- giving our viewers an all access pass to his life over a 12-day period, something rarely seen on TV today."

Viewers will get a unique perspective on Bieber's grinding schedule on the seven-country, 12-day promo tour thanks to the "Justin-cam," which will show fans the madness from his perspective. The whirlwind tour will culminate with a special concert performance in New York City. Bieber dropped a new single this week, "Die in Your Arms,"? which laces his pop attack with bits of Motown harmonies and producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins' signature funky beats.

The song's vintage swing, finger snaps and melodies certainly recall the heyday of feel-good R&B from the 1960s, which is mirrored in the song's sentiment. On the chorus, Bieber sings, "Honestly, the truth is, if I could just die in your arms/ I wouldn't mind/ 'Cause every time you touch me/ I just die in your arms/ It feels so right/ So baby, baby, baby, please don't stop girl."

"Die" is the follow-up to the more pop-'n'-b-leaning "Boyfriend,"? which he dropped back in March. Last week he released a remix to the song, featuring 2 Chainz, Mac Miller and Asher Roth, which certainly ups the song's hip-hop ante quite a bit. "And we can be like Selena and Biebs/ Wild and free, a couple disobedient teens/ Sneaking out to meet like two o' clock in the eve/ Paparazzi ain't a problem, we just hide on the beach," Roth spits on the track.

Johnny Depp Vs. Rooney Mara: Movie Awards Transformers

On-screen transformations aren't purely dominated by Autobots and Decepticons. Actors can undergo their own forms of cinematic overhauls too, from makeup-heavy makeovers to complete 180-degree turns against type to ? as the case may be ? shocking returns to one's original form.

All of these and more are represented in the Best On-Screen Transformation category at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. This year's nominees include the twice-nominated Colin Farrell for his dirtbaggy turn in "Horrible Bosses" and "Hunger Games" favorite Elizabeth Banks' perfectly pink metamorphosis as the irrepressible Effie Trinket, among others.

There's no shortage of worthy candidates for the Best On-Screen Transformation award, but which nominee will walk away feasting on Golden Popcorn? You can make that choice for yourself by voting over at MovieAwards.MTV.com ? but first, let's re-examine each of the nominees, shall we?

Colin Farrell, "Horrible Bosses"
The Irish actor is the epitome of the leading man: dark-haired, dark-eyed, smoky-voiced, with an enormous list of credits to his name including "S.W.A.T." and his Golden Globe-winning turn in "In Bruges." None of those qualities are on display in Farrell's "Horrible Bosses" performance as coke fiend Bobby Pellitt, a balding, overweight son of a you-know-what. His physical transformation is as shocking as Tom Cruise's Les Grossman of "Tropic Thunder" fame. It's no less award-worthy, either.

Elizabeth Banks, "The Hunger Games"
Banks was a huge "Hunger Games" fan well before the movie ever got into motion, and her adoration for the world of Panem shines brightly through her performance as the bubbly Effie. It's no easy task trying to recognize the "Zack and Miri" actress beneath the layers upon layers of pink-and-pale powder, but trust us, she's there ? and she'll be there for many years to come, thanks to the huge success of the first "Hunger Games" film.

Johnny Depp, "21 Jump Street"
We did it, guys! No, seriously, we did ? MTV News long championed for a Depp cameo in Jonah Hill's "21 Jump Street," and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star delivered with flying colors. Aside from the fact that Depp is virtually unrecognizable in the role, it's the hilarious and astonishing way that his part plays out that proves just how much of a transformation this "Jump Street" throwback really was for the Oscar-nominated actor.

Michelle Williams, "My Week With Marilyn"
As Jamie Foxx and Philip Seymour Hoffman will happily tell you, getting under the skin of real-life historical figures is a great way to win yourself an Oscar. That tactic didn't work for Williams at this year's Academy Awards, but it could very easily lead to a Golden Popcorn trophy at the Movie Awards on Sunday. Williams is virtually unrecognizable as Monroe, slipping into the iconic entertainer's tragic life with ease.

Rooney Mara, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"
If I were a betting man, I'd put money on Mara taking home the Best On-Screen Transformation award. Seriously, did any of these other candidates get their no-no parts pierced for their roles? I didn't think so! Beyond the long-term physical adjustments she made to her own body, Mara embraced punk-hacker Lisbeth Salander's cold and calculating personality wholeheartedly, convincing us beyond a shadow of a doubt that she truly was the girl who played with fire.

Pete Rock Wanted To Assist Lupe Fiasco On 'T.R.O.Y.' Remake

Pete Rock and CL Smooth's "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)" is an iconic, classic and unforgettable track that hip-hop fans across the world hold near and dear. But as special as the 1992 track is to the listener, it means even more to the creator, who originally made the track in dedication to his fallen friend Troy "Trouble T Roy" Dixon. So when producer Pete Rock first heard Lupe Fiasco's remake, "Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)," on the radio last week, he was quite upset.

"At that point, my emotions were working ? I'm still thinking about Heavy D and Troy is a dear friend to me, and my emotions got the best of me, and I expressed myself on Twitter," Pete Rock told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway on Tuesday, a week after Lupe released his single.

Dixon, a former member of the hip-hop group Heavy D & the Boyz, passed away in 1990 after an accidental fall while he was out on tour. Two years later, Pete Rock and his partner CL Smooth released "T.R.O.Y." to pay homage. The song took on even greater meaning for Rock after Heavy D, his cousin, passed away in November 2011.

The Soul Brother said he was approached by Lupe's label and management to use his classic beat for their new track. Rock agreed, under the one condition: that he was involved in the recording process. "I thought from that point I would be involved with Lupe and being in the studio, tweaking the beat, but I never heard from the record label, and then I turn on the radio, and hear it on the radio," Rock explained.

Instead of involving Pete Rock, Lupe and his team re-created the beat from the original 1967 Tom Scott sample from which "T.R.O.Y." was crafted.

"No disrespect to lupe fiasco and i like him alot but TROY should be left alone. Feel so violated, the beat is next to my heart and was made Outta anguish and pain. When it's like that it should not be touched by no one," Rock tweeted after hearing the track. "I'm not flattered @ all. Dat sh-- is wack, and the producer should be ashamed of his f---in self. Smh."

The two soon got on the phone, and their respective differences were thought to be solved. "I just got off da phone with lupe, we worked out our difference and we bout to get it in," Pete tweeted May 23. "Gonna be epic and we gonna give Troy and hev the proper respect they deserve and make history."

The very next day, an irate Lupe phoned into the "Sway in the Morning" radio show and blasted Pete Rock for what he said was a premature tweet. "He wasn't supposed to say that," Lupe said in response to Pete's tweet about plans to collaborate, which has now been deleted from his account. "He was supposed to say the same sh-- he said on the phone: 'Yo, man, it was my bad, that was wack, it was f---ed up for me to say that, it was disrespectful, I was 100 percent in the wrong, I apologize.' That's what he was supposed to say."

The two artists clearly have different views, but Pete contends that his aim was to make peace. "When he called, he was upset, and I just tried to talk him through that and say, 'Look, man, at the end of the day, let's just fix this thing,' " Rock explained to MTV News. "My whole goal was to just squash this thing, fix the music and just move on."

Pete said he's still a Fiasco fan ? naming "Paris, Tokyo" and "Kick, Push" as two of his favorite songs ? but he also stands by his original condition: If anyone is to remake "T.R.O.Y.," he wants to be involved. "If you're using my track, I want to give you that same impact that I had when I put that record out," he said.

"They Reminisce Over You" has already been redone several times ? on mixtapes as well as commercially released albums. Rock said he can't control the unauthorized mixtape versions, but he would like to be a part of all official remakes, as he was on Mary J. Blige's 1993 What's the 411? Remix album. "The Mary J. 'The Host' Set Visit: Stephenie Meyer On 'Beautiful' Adaptation

It's no secret that readers become protective of their beloved novels when a film company takes on the ambitious task of turning it into a movie. Fans rally behind their favorite actors to play the lead roles and voice their concerns over the script staying true to the book. When it comes to Stephenie Meyer's, "The Host," the response has been no different.

Luckily fans have been warm to lead actors Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons, but will they be happy with the script? Cast your worries aside Meyer fans! When MTV News headed out for a behind-the-scenes look at the big-screen adaptation of Meyer's novel, she told us that she's had more input in this film thanks to director Andrew Niccol.

"Andrew and I work pretty well together, he's really, really great," Meyer said. "And so he was super easy to work with. In the script-writing process he loved to hear what I had to say and worked really well with me on that. He's really about, 'What do you think about this? What do you think about that?' I think [I have more input] because we are really in sync."

Both parts sci-fi and romance, Meyer's story follows the invasion of an alien race called Souls. Like parasites, they enter the human body, but these trespassers erase their host's personalities. When Melanie Styder's (Ronan) parasite, Wanderer, becomes engulfed in Melanie's memories instead of erasing them, she develops her own feelings for Melanie's love Jared (Max Irons) and allies with her host body to find him.

Meyer told us that filming the movie has been a welcome experience, partly due to a change of scenery?no more dreary Forks for this writer! "This [set] has beautiful landscapes everywhere we've been and so that's been kind of different, too. We're not in a forest where you can't really see, we have all this beautiful stuff. It's great."

And while the author is enjoying her time on set, she also revealed that she misses "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

"It seems funny not to have Kristen here," she said. "'I'm on a set, why can't I talk to Kristen?' That's a little funny."

Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Alec Baldwin Give Props To Obama On Same-Sex Marriage

After hearing from stars including? Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres, "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Kim Kardashian on Wednesday, the list of well-wishers grew to include everyone from Lady Gaga to hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons, Alec Baldwin and political blogger Meghan McCain.

"Obama, congratulations on being the first sitting president to support marriage equality," tweeted Gaga. "Feels like the future, and not the past. #NoFear." Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons simply said "thank you," and singer Michelle Branch gave it a rousing, "YAY Obama!! #EqualityForAll."

Historic day!" Meanwhile, another out TV personality, Bravo boss and talk show host Andy Cohen, shouted, "THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT."

Singer Ricky Martin offered his props as well, saying, "I applaud President @barackobama for affirming that ALL Americans should enjoy equal rights. Historic!"

That was followed by some more good news in the form of, "Well, I'm now married to @stephenfry. Ceremony was charming, but watching Seal Team Six fight over the bouquet was f---ing INTENSE." Bobby Brown Trusts Bobbi Kristina Won't Repeat His Mistakes

Bobby Brown is no stranger to controversy. Though there are always rumors and speculation surrounding the Bad Boy of R&B, Brown is very clear about one thing: his love for Bobbi Kristina, his daughter with the late Whitney Houston.

"That's my baby girl. She'll forever be my baby girl. She's doing what she's doing, and I'm extremely proud of her," Brown told MTV News correspondent Sway on Tuesday (May 29). "She's acting and she's working on music and she's doing what she has to do to recover from her loss ? our loss."

The New Edition singer is readying the release of his first solo album in 14 years. The Masterpiece,as he titled it, is due out June 5 and will come four months after the death of his ex-wife.

It has been tough for Bobby and his daughter. In February, the same month her mother passed away, Bobbi Kris was rushed to the hospital and treated for anxiety. There have been reports of drug abuse, but her dad chalked it up to just a phase.

"Any parent that has a teenager in their life, they go through things. They go through phases that they might not be doing exactly what you want them to do in life, but they grow out of it, and my baby girl has grown out of it," he said confidently. "I trust and believe that she's smart enough to not go down the same road that maybe I did in the past or her mother did in the past. She's extremely smart."

Brown insisted that there is nothing that can come in the way of his love for his daughter, not even rumors that she wants to change her last name to Houston to distance herself from her pop. "She can't change her last name, her name is her name. She'll forever be known as Bobbi Kristina Brown. There's no changing that, there's no taking that back," he assured.

The hardened singer simply gushed, thinking back to the Billboard Music Awards when his baby girl gave a speech honoring her mother. "I saw her speech and, of course, she's just beautiful, you want to keep looking at her," he said proudly.

Lady Gaga Cancels Show In Indonesia After Protests

Lady Gaga lives to provoke and push the envelope. But not everyone is up for her antics. The "Americano" singer has been forced to cancel her sold-out June 3 "Born This Way Ball" show at the 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia after Islamic hard-liners and conservative lawmakers said her sexy costumes, suggestive dance moves and "vulgar" style could corrupt the nation's youth.

According to the Associated Press, a spokesperson for the national police said on Tuesday (May 15) that the permit for the show has been denied after religious conservatives worried that the concert could undermine the nation's moral fiber. Some of the critics actually threatened to use physical force to prevent Gaga from getting off her plane. Though Indonesia is a secular state, it has the world's largest population of Muslims and a small extremist fringe of religious leaders has been more vocal in recent years.

"She's a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching," said Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI), according to Reuters. "This is dangerous."

Local police worried that they might not be able to guarantee security at the show and suggested to national police that the permit for what was to be Gaga's biggest gig on her current Asian tour be pulled. Every seat at the Karno stadium had been sold, with half of them going in the first two hours.

The AP reported that permits for shows are typically issued three weeks before concerts in Jakarta, so it is not uncommon for tickets to be sold well ahead of receiving a final permit. Gaga's Asian tour started last month and the Indonesian flap is not the first bump she's faced along the road. Gigs in South Korea? were 18-and-over because conservatives in that country also raised objections over the concert's content.

'Fifty Shades Of Grey': Stephenie Meyer Speaks Out

"Fifty Shades of Grey" seems to be on everyone's mind lately. How will they make NC-17 reading material into an R-rated film? Who will take on the role of the timid Ana Steele? And, most importantly, who will be cast as Christian Grey, the sexy leading man? Those all are important questions, but the one query we were itching to have answered is: What does "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer think of the book? E L James' trilogy started out as "Twilight" fan fiction, after all.

When MTV News caught up with the writer on the set of "The Host," she told us she doesn't know much about "Fifty Shades," but she supports James in her endeavor.

"I haven't read it. I mean, that's really not my genre, not my thing," she said with a laugh. "I've heard about it; I haven't really gotten into it that much. Good on her ? she's doing well. That's great!"

"Fifty Shades" follows the sadomasochistic affair of college graduate Ana Steele and dominant billionaire Christian Grey. Their relationship begins as a purely physical attraction, but as they become engrossed in each other and start to fall in love, Ana realizes Christian's past might not be something she wants to uncover. Christian represents Edward Cullen, a brooding, self-deprecating and impossibly good-looking man with a few secrets, while Ana is an adaptation of the clumsy and shy Bella Swan. Without Meyer's novel, "Fifty Shades" might not exist.

"It might not exist in the exact form that it's in," Meyer said. "Obviously, [James] had a story in her, and so it would've come out in some other way."

But James isn't the only writer who gained Meyer's support. "The Host" author mentioned being a "super fan" of Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games."

"I'm just excited for anything that they do," she said. "I was really excited they were turning it into a movie. Of course, then you have that, 'Are they gonna screw it up?' 'cause it's so awesome, but they didn't; it's awesome. I'm really looking forward to the next one. I have fingers crossed for a couple of casting choices."

Once she revealed she had actors in mind, we had to ask her pick for the beloved District 4 tribute, Finnick Odair: "Taylor Kitsch," she said, stating her choice. "Is there another option?"

When our correspondent Josh Horowitz mentioned he spoke to Kitsch, and the actor said he's not interested in the role, Meyer was more than a little disappointed, saying, "You're breaking my heart."

Lady Gaga Taps The Darkness To Open Born This Way Ball

Perhaps looking for some actual Heavy Metal Lovers, Lady Gaga has tapped reunited British rockers the Darkness as the opening act on the first ? though we're willing to bet not last ? leg of her Born This Way Ball, which kicks off August 14 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The Darkness confirmed the news Tuesday morning (April 10) on their official site (which, in a very Darkness move, is called TheActualDarkness.com), writing that they were "honoured [British spelling, extra classy] to announce their addition to the bill as main support for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball tour 2012."

The glammy, hammy rockers ? best known for theatrical hits like "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and "Growing on Me" ? burned bright before imploding in 2006, but announced a reunion (and plans for a new album) just last year. And as a way of kickstarting the next chapter of their career, frontman Justin Hawkins appeared in a well-received Samsung commercial that aired during Super Bowl XLV, in which he starred as a Spandex-clad pied piper who rescued folks from the monotony of everyday life. So, you know, it was basically a documentary.

It's not clear if the Darkness will serve as the opening act on all of Gaga's Euro dates (a spokesperson for the band did not respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time), but, thanks to the Mother Monster herself, we now know that there are European dates for the much-discussed BTW Ball.

Gaga unveiled the first 21 shows early Tuesday morning on her Twitter account. After kicking off August 14 in Bulgaria, she'll make stops in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Germany, France and the U.K. before wrapping October 6 in Barcelona.

Five Reasons To See 'Men In Black 3'

The "Men in Black" are back with the third installment of their popular franchise. The movie centers on our favorite men in black, Agent K and Agent J, as they trail a one-armed alien named Boris the Animal who escapes from his confined prison on the moon. K shot his arm off back in the sixties and Boris wants his revenge. He travels back in time to 1969 and kills K so that his arm is restored and the world is left unprotected from alien invasion. J must follow Boris to the past to save K's life and discover the secrets of the universe.

While critics suggest the franchise didn't need a third film, the three-quel is on par with the first "MIB" movie that sparked audiences' attention. It keeps its viewers entertained and will delight fans who loved the first flick. Here are our five reasons to see it this weekend.

Will Smith's Humor
Agent J is back and he's as funny as ever. He continually banters back and forth with the present Agent K, skeptically questioning all of K's moves as they bicker on how to handle situations. He's the same smooth-talking character that engaged audiences in the first film. From his explanations after erasing bystanders' memories on the scene of a crime to stealing a car and trying to convince two racist cops that it's not because of his skin color, he keeps the audience laughing throughout the film.

Josh Brolin's Performance
"The Goonies" actor completely nails the role of Agent K. His accent, mannerisms, facial expressions, body language?everything reminds us of Tommy Lee Jones. Smith even told MTV News that Brolin's performance completely shocked him. "It is really amazing what he's able to do. And it's crazy?it's so amazing that he's not gonna get credit for it because he just seems like young Tommy Lee Jones." And Smith is right. Brolin is able to trick us into thinking Agent J really did go back in time and we're not seeing a different actor on screen, but Jones in his younger years. When one actor can completely embody another, that's a performance worth noting.

The Aliens
All three "MIB" films star extraterrestrials that were born in the mind of Rick Baker, legendary monster make-up artist. He introduces us to a whole new set of awesome looking aliens in the third movie that make audiences squirm and laugh. The most notable creature causing the former reaction is Boris the Animal. His teeth are jagged and gross (go to the dentist kids!), and the skin around his eyes opens to show what almost looks like fingers holding his goggles in place. His feet and hands have the same function (all the better to hold you with, my dear?), but his hands also have an added bonus. There's a creepy spider-like creature that shoots pointy nail-like structures into its victims, and would like to know where that lives? Inside Boris' palm! We cringed?a lot.

The Nostalgia
It's been 15 years since we were introduced to the secret organization protecting earth from alien life. We can remember why the word "sugar" can still make us laugh and why Jones and Smith are the perfect duo. As the film goes back in time, it's littered with scenes that recall our memory of K and J in the early stages of becoming partners. The most notable scene is when the younger K refuses to give J the gun he time jumped with, handing him a pistol instead. We are instantly reminded of J's initial reaction in the first film when K handed him the tiny firearm with big power that threw him across the room with one blast. It's scenes like that that make this three-quel worth checking out.

An Unexpected Ending
Without giving too much away we can say the ending holds an unexpected twist that ties all three films in the franchise together. It's shocking and sweet and our eyes might have filled with tears at one point (but if you tell anyone that we'll deny it).

Are you heading out to see "Men in Black 3" this holiday weekend? Tell us why in the comments and on Twitter!

Linkin Park Do 'Everything At Once' On LIVING THINGS

As if the drastic left turn they took with 2010's A Thousand Suns wasn't proof enough, it should be fairly obvious at this point that Linkin Park have grown tired of doing things the traditional way. Rather, they're determined to blaze their own trail, which, given their standing as one of the hugest rock acts on the planet, is a certainly admirable ? if not slightly questionable ? way of operating.

And though the follow-up to the willfully dissonant Suns ? LIVING THINGS (due June 26) ? isn't quite as obtuse, it still finds the band experimenting with vastly different soundscapes, lyrical themes and recording techniques, simultaneously honing their focus and expanding their horizons. It is the rare record that both pays homage to the past while bolding looking forward, and needless to say, it's a head-spinning listen from start to finish. Though, as Linkin Park told MTV News during the premiere of their new "BURN IT DOWN" video, they prefer to think of it as just the next step.

"It's just really different [from anything we've done before]," Mike Shinoda said. "I feel like we made a serious effort to try and touch all of the bases of all of the different things that we've done, and bring them together in each song. Not just one album, but each song. And then maybe sprinkle in some stuff that we've never done before, too."

That's evident in first single "BURN," which recalls both LP's nu-metal past and their current experimental present ... or in standout tracks like "CASTLE OF GLASS" or "UNTIL IT BREAKS," sonic rattlers born out of the band's less-than-traditional methods of recording, and all the better because of it.

"Our writing process is a weird, amorphous thing. For some bands, just to put it in perspective, they jam, and then they write a song and then they record a song and then they mix it and finish it ... we don't do that," Shinoda laughed. "We do everything at once, every step of the way. From the moment we're putting things down on the laptop, I'm already kind of mixing it a little bit [and] sometimes those things end up being songs, like 'CASTLE OF GLASS,' [where] my vocal performance in the first part of that song, pretty much almost everything you hear in the beginning of the song was the very first demo. Like, that went from nothing there, to those things, and then the song got built.

"Some songs we'll come up with demos, and they won't ever turn into anything ... we'll hear them, and we'll know they're not ever going to be a great song on their own," he continued. "But there may be a section of it, a little glimmer of cool something in it, and the song 'Until It Breaks' is built from just those. There were like four demos that we had made that weren't going anywhere individually, but when you put them all together, they make something really interesting. It's supposed to feel really jarring and weird, and for me it was a really fun song to make."

So yes, while LIVING THINGS does represent a return to the band's thundering past, it is also very much a snapshot of the band in 2012, still at the peak of their powers, still melding seemingly disparate sounds and influences, and pushing the envelope whenever possible. By whatever means necessary.

"Just because you see Brad [Delson] playing a guitar on stage, doesn't mean he just writes guitar on the album. A lot of times, especially on this record, more often than not, he wasn't playing guitar," Shinoda said. "But regardless of who played what, in our band, that's not important. It's more about everybody's got a voice, and everybody's got an influence on the song, and if one guy's not really happy with something, then we try to address it."

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball Kicks Off Amid Protests

Lady Gaga kicked off her hotly awaited Born This Way Ball at Seoul, South Korea's Olympic Stadium on Friday (April 27) in front of 45,000 fans, and despite protests from Christian groups saying Mother Monster was "obscene" and could "taint" young people with her performance, the concert appears to have gone on without incident.

Intrepid Twitter fans are already showing off pictures and video of the BTW Ball's enormous Gothic castle backdrop and myriad costume changes, making it clear that Gaga has outdone even her own Monster Ball in terms of spectacle.

While we wait for reviews to trickle in from halfway around the world, one thing is certain: No minors were corrupted at the show. Earlier this month, the Korea Media Rating Board decided to elevate the age rating for the concert from 12 to 18, prohibiting minors from seeing the concert. When the board notified Gaga's tour promotion company and a sponsor of the change in age restrictions, it did not offer a reason why the show ? which at the time was still in rehearsals and had not been reviewed publicly ? was considered unsuitable for children under 18.

The likely catalyst for the board's decision came more into focus as the concert neared and protests from a group of conservative Christians calling itself the Alliance for Sound Culture in Sexuality ramped up. The group covered Seoul with posters accusing Gaga of "spreading unhealthy sexual culture" through "lewd lyrics and performances."

The superstar and her fans, however, were undeterred. Though she tweeted her hopes that the Korea Media Rating Board would reverse its decision (it didn't), she continued on as planned. Many fans reportedly arrived at the show wearing versions of Gaga's most well-known flamboyant costumes, and there have been no reports of disturbances at the concert.

Before the show, Gaga tweeted, "I can you hear you Korea. I'm shaking."

Gaga's performance was heavy on material from her Born this Way album, though her biggest hits, including "Bad Romance," Poker Face" and "Just Dance," were represented.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball set list:

"Highway Unicorn"
"Government Hooker"
"Born This Way"

One Direction Keep Fans Screaming All Night On Tour

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey ? Maybe you've heard their songs on the radio or caught their TV performances on the "Today" show or "Saturday Night Live," but nothing quite captures the success of One Direction like the screams.

On Friday night, thousands of fans from across the Tri-State area hit the IZOD Center, filling the 19,000-capacity arena for the latest stop on the U.K. pop sensation's headlining, Stateside tour. They were there to experience a new wave of a British Invasion, and they weren't disappointed.

Even before the show started, there was an excitement and energy in the air as Directioners ? young and old alike ? rushed into the building wearing homemade T-shirts, carrying posters and sporting body paint declaring their love for their favorite 1D members, be it Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson or Harry Styles.

After two opening acts and a few warm-up songs, including Busta Rhymes and Run-DMC classics, One Direction finally hit the stage as the crowd jumped to its feet. Opening with " Na Na Na," the boys ? dressed in the matching theme of red, white and blue, but each with their own signature touch ? hit the harmonies hard. The concert followed a seasonal theme with corresponding video and costumes to match. A few songs in, Harry told the sell-out crowd, "I think this is our "biggest show" as a band!" which sent fans screaming all over again.

Veering from their chart-topping debut album, Up All Night, each 1D member took a shot at a solo cover of some of their favorite songs, including the Black Eyed Peas' "I Got a Feeling" and the Gym Class Heroes hit "Stereo Hearts." The boys then sat on stools as they serenaded fans with "Moments." Cell phone lights took the place of lighters as the audience sang every word of the ballad.

After a quick change into the next outfit (and the next season), 1D proceeded with some of their more popular hits, including "More Than This" and the album's title track, "Up All Night." The set soon moved onto the live-tweeting portion of the show, where fans tweeted questions from the audience to their favorite bandmember. Then Liam showed off some beat-boxing skills and Harry attempted to do the worm before the guys were back at it with another cover, this time the hit Kings of Leon song "Use Somebody."

To end the night, 1D gave a shout-out to their impressive backing band and closed with singles "One Thing" and, of course, their #1 hit "What Makes You Beautiful." But a perfect evening of hearty pop wouldn't be complete without an encore! So the boys returned to perform "I Want" to the delight of their devoted fans.

If you missed the 1D performance on Friday, fear not Directioners, a full list of U.S. tour dates is available on their official website.

Jon Favreau Returns To 'Iron Man 3' In Today's Twitter-Wood

He's baaaaaaaaaack. No, we're not talking about Mr. Schwarzenegger. We're talking about Jon Favreau, of course. He's making his return to Marvel for "Iron Man 3"! While he won't be directing the three-quel, he's reprising his role as Happy Hogan, Tony Stark's bodyguard and side-kick.

The story line for the third film is currently being kept under wraps, so we're not certain how large his part will be. He appeared in the first film for a cameo with a more fleshed out part in the second movie?perhaps he'll be essential to the third?

Robert Downey Jr., however, did reveal the film has one hell of a script. "'Iron Man 3' is probably the best script I've read in five years, which is so funny," he said. "I mean, things have come so full circle that a genre superhero movie can actually be the most artistic bit of writing I read...To me [it] is an opportunity to go back to the kind of storytelling and character exploration that made the first one good."

Favreau may have something to do with that as he's been heavily involved in the project. In a recent interview he said he has a "tremendous connection" to the "Iron Man" franchise and his character Happy Hogan. He holds no animosity against Marvel taking on director Shane Black for the next flick. In fact, he praises Black's vision.

"It's a really smart way to go," he said. "After 'Avengers,' you want to start with something really bold and inspired, and if you've ever seen 'Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang,' you've seen that when Downey and Shane get together, interesting and unexpected things happen."

What do you think of Favreau's return? Do you wish he was still directing? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!

'Men In Black 3,' 'Moonrise Kingdom' And More: Double Feature Friday!

This week in theaters, Tommy Lee Jones gets a little help from Josh Brolin, letting him do most of the Tommy Lee Jones-ing in "Men In Black 3," and Wes Anderson unveils his ode to Wes Anderson with "Moonrise Kingdom." If you're looking for wonderful cinematic pairings then look no further than Double Feature Friday!

"Men In Black 3" & "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada"
Tommy Lee Jones doesn't like a lot of things. I doubt he likes making "Men In Black" movies. He probably doesn't like you very much, but he does like making westerns. TLJ even directed his very own western in 2005 with "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada." Very much in the vein of a novel by Jones' favorite writer, Cormac McCarthy, "Three Burials" follows Pete Perkins, a rancher, who must fulfill a promise he made to his former employee Melquiades. When a border patrol agent kills old Mel, Pete kidnaps the agent (played by Barry Pepper) and forces him to come along on his journey to bury his friend in Mexico. The film received some minor praise in 2005 but went largely unseen.

"Moonrise Kingdom" & "Breathless"
There are few better examples of a Wes Anderson-esque film than the Wes Anderson-directed "Moonrise Kingdom." The Texan auteur's latest film unapologetically wears his signature style on its sleeve, making for probably the clearest example of the look and feel of a Wes Anderson movie. Like many stylists from his era, Anderson's look comes from a hodge-podge of cinematic influences, the most significant of which is probably the French New Wave of the 1960s. If this is a period you're unfamiliar with, the best entry point would be Jean-Luc Godard's "Breathless," the era's best known film. The iconic film features Jean-Paul Belmundo and Jean Seberg as a crook and his lover as they spend a few lazy days together on the run.

"Chernobyl Diaries" & "Paranormal Activity"
Each and every ad for the "Chernobyl Diaries" boasts "From Producer of 'Paranormal Activity' Oren Peli." It's a credit that has been thrown around often since the filmmaker burst onto the scene with the original demonic found footage film, but "director Oren Peli" is something we do not see anymore. Peli has been working on his "Paranormal" follow-up "Area 51" for what seems like ages with no release date in sight, so in the meantime, go back and watch "Paranormal Activity," if you can with the original ending. It's more tragic than the one suggested by Steven Spielberg and would have stopped the series' current arc dead in its tracks.

What are you watching this weekend? Let us know in the comments below and on Twitter!

If one movie is never enough for you and you're looking for a flick to get you in the mood for this week's new release, Double Feature Friday is here to help. Every week we break down the new releases and pair them with older movies that you should catch before heading out to the theater. Or just skip the new movie and check out the classic we recommend.
