'Tucker And Dale' Drawn To This Week's Horror Bites

Tucker and Dale are gearing up to fight evil, but thankfully they've got some help from comic book artist Tony Moore. The "Walking Dead" co-creator supplied this fantastic poster for "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil," which debuted exclusively over at our brother blog Splash Page earlier today. Universal's Halloween Gets Horrifying
Lady Luck has seen better days in a new promo for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights. The director for the haunted house, scarezone, and live show extravaganza delivers a message about the new attractions for this year's event. Halloween experts have crafted scenes from the works of Edgar Allan Poe, "The Thing", and more. Your luck begins to run out on September 23, but you have until October 31 to pay your debt. Dig into the teaser trailer for more haunted shenanigans.

Real-Life 'Amityville Horror' Events Investigated in New Documentary
Ronald DeFeo, Jr. killed his entire family in 1974. The brutal murder was the inspiration behind the novel and film versions of "The Amityville Horror". Many filmmakers have tried to cash in on the bloody story ? which is ripe with controversy about accomplices, hoaxes, and more ? but most of the movie sequels have been absolutely terrible. Ryan Katzenbach is hoping to change that with "Shattered Hopes - The True Story of the Amityville Murders", which documents the real-life tragedy of the DeFeo family. Ed Asner narrates, while Jon Huybrecht, Jon Southwell, Susannah Hart Jones, "and a host of real life medical examiners and investigators" star to recreate what happened on November 13, 1974 when DeFeo shot his parents and siblings while they slept. Dread Central has the trailer.

'Fright Night' Writer Will Tackle 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'
Seth Grahame-Smith's novel "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has had its share of setbacks. The walking dead opus ? based on Jane Austen's 1813 story ? has struggled to become a screen adaptation, but after losing its star and going through three directors some good news has finally arrived. "Buffy" writer Marti Noxon is ready to roll with the undead script, which will reunite her with "Fright Night" director Craig Gillespie. "The script needed some work. He [Gillespie] pitched me to Lionsgate and I did a rewrite, and now they are casting it. I would do any project with Craig," Noxon recently told FEARnet. Check out the full interview over here.

'The House of the Devil' Invites a Werewolf to Come Inside
A throwback to the Satanic panic period of the '70s and '80s, "The House of the Devil" is more than just a nostalgic re-creation, it's also a damn good movie. Director Ti West ? who most recently completed "The Innkeepers", which just had its UK premiere ? spoke about his upcoming projects at London's FrightFest. West is contributing to the anthology, "The ABCs of Death", and there's also a sci-fi project ("The Side Effects" takes place in space and is about pharmaceutical testing) and a werewolf movie ? with a completed script ? waiting in the wings. Whatever it is, we want it and can't wait to hear more. [Hey U Guys]

'Nurse 3D' Cast Takes Shape
There was a rumor this week that burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese would be starring in the upcoming "Nurse 3D", but sadly the story wasn't true. Boris Kodjoe ("Resident Evil: Afterlife") and Adam Herschman ("Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay") will be joining the cast, however, along with Neal McDonough ("Captain America"), Niecy Nash ("Reno 911") and Nick Turturro ("Hellraiser: Inferno"). The previously announced Paz De La Huerta, Katrina Bowden, and Corbin Bleu also star. Abby Russell is a trusted and hard-working nurse by day, but by night she lures men to their death in a twisted revenge scheme. A fellow nurse uncovers Abby's psychosexual exploits, but the lunatic seductress isn't ready to stop the slaughter until one last victim gets his just desserts. [Bloody-Disgusting]

'Piranha 3DD' Trailer Debuts in Space This Weekend
If you want to catch a peek at the sure to be ridiculous and smutty "Piranha 3DD" trailer, watch "Apollo 18" this weekend. The "Piranha 3DD" Facebook page alerted fans to check the space film out in order to catch a glimpse of John Gulager's new movie. The cast is like a running joke and includes everyone from Danielle Panabaker and Katrina Bowden, to Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames, and David Hasselhoff. On November 23 the blood-thirsty piranha take over a water park. [Facebook]
