Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is pulling out all the stops for his post-Oscars special, airing on January 26. So far he?s managed to book the one and only Oprah Winfrey, among a sea of many other A-listers set to stop by.
Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman, JJ Abrams, Steven Tyler, Tyler Perry, Edward Norton, Colin Farrell and Ryan Philippe have all been confirmed, People.com reports. The annual post-show fete, ?Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards,? will also include appearances from Meryl Streep, George Clooney and Martin Scorsese, as well as a performance from Coldplay, EW.com adds. Oscar host Billy Crystal will also make an appearance.
Given that the show has launched such viral smashes like "F*@#ing Ben Affleck," "Handsome Men's Club," "Hottie Body Hump Club" and "Tom Hanks's Toddlers in Tiaras,? shenanigans are expected and given the caliber of talent Mr. Kimmel has booked for the bash (which will air on ABC immediately after news which will air immediately after the Academy Awards next Sunday), we expect them to go hard or go home.
Kimmel recently tweeted that he expects ?This yr should be the best yet,? and Vulture blog got their hands on some funny posters spoofs that tease what might happen during the show this year.
Posters featuring gun and weapon-wielding Helen Mirren, Clooney and Tom Hanks tease the spoof ?M:TM,? aka ?Movie: The Movie.? While little is known about the plot of the action film, it will also include Charlize Theron, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Cameron Diaz, and Samuel L. Jackson.
