Depending upon whether you're a bigger fan of film or television, Marion Cotillard could be the biggest name actor to come to Warner Bros' upcoming "Arthur & Lancelot."
The Academy Award-winning actress has been offered the role of Arthur's sorceress half-sister Morgana, according to Vulture. They're saying that she is now officially in the Warner Bros clubhouse thanks to her roles in "Inception" and "The Dark Knight Rises," which is likely why she's getting first pick at the role.
Cotillard would be joining "Game of Thrones's" Kit Harrington and "The Killing's" Joel Kinnaman as the titular Arthur and Lancelot.
The retelling of the beloved medieval tale was both written and directed by David Dobkin. Not much is known about the film in terms of its content, but apparently it's not going to be very similar to his previous work like "The Change-Up" and "Wedding Crashers."
"It's faithful to the time period," Dobkin told MTV News earlier this year. "It's kind of a cool, fun graphic novel approach to Arthur and Lancelot, so it's cool," he promised. "It's awesome, edgy and dark."
After "The Dark Knight Rises," Cotillard still has a couple projects on her line-up. She is currently filming the French flick "Rust and Bones," and is also attached to an untitled James Gray project and the crime drama "Blood Ties." She likely will film this after she finishes "Rust and Bones," though.
