'Dark Knight Rises' Occupies Wall Street, Cillian Murphy Handles Scarecrow Questions

"The Dark Knight Rises" provided a double dose of news yesterday. First and foremost is the report that Christopher Nolan is planning to shoot the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City as part of his third and final Batman movie. It's said that he wouldn't be incorporating the actual Occupy Wall Street message into his film, but would be using the protests to enhance preexisting portions of the "Dark Knight Rises" story line.

Additionally, Batman veteran Cillian Murphy had to battle a tough line of questioning regarding whether or not he's returning as Jonathan "Scarecrow" Crane when "The Dark Knight Rises" rolls into town. The man didn't give up any spoilers, but it's not for lack of trying on his interviewers' parts.

Enter "Arkham City"
"Batman: Arkham City," the sequel to 2009's smash-hit video game "Arkham Asylum," swooped into stores this week. The verdict: perfection ? or close to it ? as befits the Bat. Check out our roundup of "Arkham City" reviews, and take a peek at what venerable Wayne butler Alfred Pennyworth has to offer you as part of the new game.

"Walking" Records
"The Walking Dead" returned to television this week in an appropriately monstrous way. The AMC zombie series debuted to the tune of 7.3 million viewers, a record number that makes the season premiere the most watched drama in the history of cable television.

"Avengers" Too!
We still haven't seen Joss Whedon's "Avengers" take flight yet, but that's not stopping Marvel from thinking about sequels already. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has started contemplating "phase two," an initiative that'll culminate in "The Avengers 2," and we're taking some guesses about what all that means. Plus, Clark Gregg talked with us about some of the new tricks up Agent Coulson's sleeve when "Avengers" hits the big screen.
