Normally when a frightening looking man with a scar on his cheek tells you that you need to come with him, you don't go. Even if he may or may not be a cop?but probably isn't?you should almost definitely not get in the car with him.
January Jones' character in the new film "Seeking Justice" has apparently not learned any of this. Jones plays Laura, the wife of Nicolas Cage's character, who suffers a violent attack early in the film. When a mysterious group of vigilantes offers to get rid of her attacker, her husband finds himself indebted to the nefarious justice seekers.
In the clip, Laura meets a supposed police officer who informs her that new evidence will exonerate her framed husband. It's the classic "We have new evidence that will prove your framed husband innocent" technique. Sadly, Laura falls for it.
Even though she ignored all the rules of surviving a conspiracy thriller, Laura does score some bonus points for carrying some pepper spray on her, a smart move.
"Seeking Justice" hits theaters in select cities on March 16.
