While to most outsiders Paris seems the very picture of beauty and civility, France has had a long and unfortunate history of intolerance toward outsiders, and this powerful drama from filmmaker Mathieu Kassovitz takes an unblinking look at a racially diverse group of young people trapped in the Parisian economic and social underclass.
On the Disc:
As they are wont to do, Criterion put together an impressive disc with enough featurettes to keep you busy for a long time. The package includes an introduction from Jodi Foster, of all people, an 80-minute documentary reuniting the cast, plus deleted and extended scenes.

Story:
Kate Beckinsale returns to the Underworld film series for the fourth installment, which finds fierce vampire Selene (Beckinsale) escaping captivity and taking up arms against humans after mankind discovers the existence of vampires and lycans, and launches a massive war aimed at wiping out the creatures of the night.

The Blu-ray version of the disk features a directors commentary and a handful of featurettes and interviews.
