'ParaNorman' Fights Zombies And Ghouls In New Trailer

What's a boy to do if he has the special ability to speak to the dead and his town becomes infested by zombies? According to the new teaser trailer for "ParaNorman," the answer is to apparently take it with a grain of salt.

The upcoming 3D stop-motion animated film, due out in August, comes from "Coraline" director Chris Butler and "The Tale of Despereaux" helmer Seth Fell. "ParaNorman" definitely aligns itself thematically with "Coraline," especially with Donovan's "Season of the Witch" being played in the background of the trailer. The teaser focuses more on the creepy, impressive stop-motion animation in the movie than on any sort of plot line, but it is better-served by that. The next trailer released can spend its time showing off "ParaNorman's" impressive voice cast.

"The Road" and "Let Me In" star Kodi Smit-McPhee voices the film's titular character. Norman Babcock is a misunderstood local boy who has the ability to speak with the dead. That comes in handy when his town comes under siege by zombies. But Norman will also face off against ghosts, witches and other ghouls to help save his friends and family, all of which are shown off in the trailer.

Leslie Mann plays Norman's mother and Anna Kendrick plays his sister in the movie. Actors like Casey Affleck, John Goodman and Christopher Mintz-Plasse also lend their vocal skills. "ParaNorman" hits theaters on August 17, 2012.

'Immortals' Mondays: Moving In God Speed

"Immortals" is just two weeks away from hitting theaters, but if we were able to move in God Speed, we'd be at that November 11 release date a whole lot quicker.

I'm talking about the speed with which Zeus, Poseidon and the other immortal powers of Olympus move against their adversaries, the Titans, in the Tarsem Singh-directed epic. Aside from the perpetually shirtless Henry Cavill and the eternally gorgeous Freida Pinto, perhaps the biggest draw of "Immortals" is the glorious battles between the Gods and the Titans, some of the most breathtaking violence I've ever seen committed to the screen, thanks largely to the otherworldly pacing of the sequences. Get an early look at God Speed for yourself in today's "Immortals" Mondays exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette!

"Immortals" hits theaters on November 11, 2011.

Exclusive: Digitalism Remixes 'Syndicate' Theme Song

EA Games is gearing up to reboot its super successful video game franchise "Syndicate," and this time it'll be set to a pumped-up electronic dance music soundtrack. Skrillex's remix of the "Syndicate" theme song has already surfaced on the game's Facebook page, and on Tuesday, German electro-house outfit Digitalism's take on the track is set to drop as well.

For the non-gamers, next year's "Syndicate" release is a return to the classic video game series that first emerged in 1993, which allowed players to engage in assassinations and other diabolical adventures ? all in an effort to advance their syndicate to the #1 spot. The upcoming 2012 version, due on February 21, will shift the point of view from fixed isometric style to first-person shooter.

And given Digitalism's origins, it seems only fitting the duo would be involved in the project: Jens "Jence" Moelle and Ismail "Isi" Tfeki (a.k.a. Digitalism cite now-classic Commodore 64 video games and French house among their early influences.

" 'Syndicate' is a game classic, which is now being brought back to life," Digitalism told MTV News via email. "For us as electronic music-lovers, who grew up with games and love soundtracks, there was no way around reinterpreting the 'Syndicate' theme!

"So what we did in our WWII bunker [recording] studio was imagine being in the game, creating a fast-paced atmosphere, turning all the compressors up and mixing classic soundtrack elements with techno. We wanted to make sure it sounds dangerous, et voila, here we go."

Fans can download Digitalism's remix of the 'Syndicate Theme' for free on the game's Facebook page Tuesday. And you can catch Digitalism on the road again soon. After headlining the HARD Festival over the summer, the pair are set to return to the U.S. on a North American tour at the end of November, where they'll showcase cuts from their sophomore album, I Love You, Dude.

'Twilight' Fan-Favorite Moment #5: 'Eclipse' Tent Scene

With all the waiting and pining we've done for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," it's hard to believe that it's only three weeks away!

Lucky for us ? and our fellow "Twilight" fans ? MTV News is making the wait a little less painful by celebrating the film's release month with tons of exciting exclusives, beginning with "MTV First: Breaking Dawn" Thursday at 7:56 p.m. ET, when Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will bring us a clip from the movie and sit down for Q&A on MTV.com.

In the meantime, we asked "Twilight" fans to vote for their top five favorite "Twilight Saga" moments, and we're happy to announce the fifth favorite clip: Edward and Jacob's tent scene from "Eclipse."

In this delightfully entertaining scene, Edward (Pattinson) has to suck up his dislike for Jacob (Lautner) and let the werewolf snuggle with Bella (Stewart) in a sleeping bag in order to prevent her from freezing to death. It is a magical moment during which the two rivals share a few words of friendly banter and almost admiration, including the following quotes: "I'm hotter than you," "Can you at least attempt to control your thoughts?" and "If we weren't natural enemies, and you weren't trying to steal my reason for existing, I might actually like you."

In addition to re-watching that scene, there's a great behind-the-scenes interview on the "Eclipse" DVD that features Pattinson and Stewart providing a hilarious bit of commentary about that scene.

"God, he's so gross. So brazen!" Pattinson says in the clip. "I really don't like Jacob."

"Aww," Stewart says.

"Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh," Pattinson scoffs.

"He's just young and overzealous," Stewart adds, in defense of the young wolf.

"He's not!" Pattinson insists. "He does it on purpose. He's looking at me when he's saying this stuff."

Be sure to tune in to "MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," which kicks off Thursday, November 3, on MTV at 7:56 p.m, followed by a Q&A with Kristen, Rob and Taylor on MTV.com!

Florence And The Machine Return With 'Enormous' Ceremonials

Florence Welch circled the globe in support of Lungs, the breakout debut that transformed her from an unknown Brit into an internationally famous performer, a fashion icon and a rather unwilling superstar.

Of course, along the way, she also managed to pick up a few souvenirs.

"I have some chainmail at home; it's a good look," she laughed. "We got a sword as well, when we were in Glasgow once. There was a sign in a store that said 'Sword Sale, 30 Percent Off.' How could you resist? It was a sale."

We mention all that not because the image of Welch clutching a broadsword is sort of amazing, but to point out the whirlwind two years that followed Lungs' release ? and the fact that they were actually tame in comparison to the four years that preceded it. Welch recorded her debut whenever ? and wherever ? she could, working with a handful of different producers in fits and starts. The reason was largely economic, of course, a problem she didn't face with the follow-up, Ceremonials, out in the U.S. on Tuesday. So when she finally wrapped up promotion behind her first album, she knew exactly where she wanted to record her new one ? and who she wanted to do it with.

"The first album, what I learned, for better or for worse, it was done over from the ages of 17-22, with a couple of different producers. Some of it was recorded in an old swimming pool, some of it was recorded in a synagogue ? it kind of was all over the place," Welch told MTV News. "And that made it the record it is, but for this one, I was very clear in the idea that I had of wanting to make something that sounded like a whole; so it had to be one producer, one place, one period of time to make it a body of work."

Produced entirely by Paul Epworth (whose work on Adele's 21 is probably playing on a radio near you right now), Welch and the Machine crafted an album that, though all over the place lyrically, is unified by one common theme: an all-encompassing, soul-engorging enormity ? one that's large enough to give even Welch pause.

"They're all pretty big," she laughed. "They all came out quite big. I was slightly worried, because I was like, 'All the sounds are enormous on this record.' "

Madonna 'Going Deep' On Next Album

Since Madonna manager Guy Oseary announced she'd be working on an album over the summer, tentatively slated for a spring release, the Queen of Pop's most loyal followers have been clamoring for updates about the progress of the record.

Last week, it was rumored Madge had plans to work with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, and now producer William Orbit has some more news for the singer's most loyal devotees.

"Madonna has phenomenal understanding of both the minutiae of music and the big picture. Zooming in, zooming out. 4ever amazing. Plus VISION!!!" he tweeted. "Working with Madonna is a treat. Fantastic tracks and vibes. Going deep. She's ON IT !!! This is THE album!"

The Ray of Lights producer's tweets even reveal where the two have been cooking up tracks for the record. "WOWOWOWOW just looked out the window here in NY and IT's SNOWING !!!!!" he wrote. "A Fairy Tale in New York but Hot Hot Hot in the studioooooo."

At the London screening for her film "W.E.," Madonna spoke to Sky News about the top-secret project, addressing the nature of her celebrity and how it relates to her art. "Even when I try something old [I get criticized]. When I make my music, I come up against criticism," she said. "So it kind of goes with the territory. I'm used to it."

Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson Reveal Halloween Plans

It's Halloween, a favorite time of the year when you can dress up as someone (or something) entirely different from yourself. Some will take the scary route, some will dress up in a sexy costume, and others might transform themselves into their favorite celebrity.

So, what are some of the biggest pop stars doing to celebrate the big day? When MTV News caught up with Demi Lovato, she told us about her Halloween plans.

"I think I'm going to dress up, but I think I'm just going to pass out candy," Lovato said.

And it seems the Unbroken singer can't decide what she will be. "I think I'm going to be a pirate or Ke$ha ? two similar options; they're one in the same," she joked.

It sounds like Lovato's trick-or-treaters are in for something special. Yet, not everyone has a costume in mind. When Kelly Clarkson stopped by MTV News on Friday, she was still unsure what she was going to be this Halloween.

"I think we are going to be in Cologne, Germany," Clarkson said. "We'll probably find a bar somewhere and dress up stupid. Our schedule's been so busy, we kind of forgot that it's happening. We'll all dress up; we're all pretty game for stuff like that."

And Clarkson wasn't kidding. The Stronger singer seems up for just about anything: Just ask about her favorite Halloween memory.

"I didn't know I was supposed to dress up for something at work ? this was years ago ? and I ended up going to Wal-Mart," Clarkson revealed. "The only thing they had left was a XXXL cow costume, and it had udders that were dragging on the floor. It was really gross and awesome."

'Breaking Dawn' Experts Reveal 'MTV First' Wish List

We can hardly contain our "Twilight"-obsessed excitement for Thursday, November 3, at 7:56 p.m. ET when we will premiere a never-before-released clip from the hugely anticipated "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" live on-air, to be introduced by megastars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

This extra-special event is "MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," which is an opportunity for us to provide our fellow "Twilight" fans with some insider excitement surrounding the impending release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1," due November 18, and catch up with the three actors following the clip's debut on MTV.com.

To get a feel for what members of the "Twilight" fandom hope to hear or see next week, MTV News sought out the expertise of Laura Byrne-Cristiano, who owns TwilightLexicon.com; Kara Hassell of TwilightersAnonymous.com; and Kallie Mathews from TwilightSeriesTheories.com.

In the exclusive clip, Byrne-Cristiano and Mathews hope to see some reactions to Bella's pregnancy from the wolf pack, while Hassell hopes more humans are involved.

"I love the Cullens and werewolves as much as the next 'Twilight' fan, but I'm dying to see a little snark from Charlie Swan (Billy Burke) or Jessica Stanley (Anna Kendrick)," Hassell said.

The ladies are also eager to see the dynamic between Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner during the MTV.com Q&A following the premiere of the clip.

"I hope and expect to see some great chemistry and a lot of comedy from the three," Hassell said. "We've seen them individually in interviews recently, but it's always a whole different ballgame when they are all together."

"I would really love to hear them discuss acting together, i.e. when Jacob finds out that Bella is preggers," Mathews added. "And what it was like to play off of each other's emotions in such an intense scene."

"[I would like to know] what scene are they the proudest of that they took part in," Byrne-Cristiano said. "In terms of end result on film."

Continuing with the theme of patiently waiting and eager anticipation, how are our dedicated experts preparing for the film's opening day and making the wait less painful?

"I'm so busy grabbing every interview and news story. It takes my mind off of it," Byrne-Cristiano said. "Plus, we are planning this big private movie showing for our fans in the Nashville area, so I've been really busy with that."

"I have re-watched each of the first three films, and I have the soundtracks on repeat in my car!" Hassell admitted.

"I am planning to be at the premiere with the rest of the fans!" Mathews said. "We are also giving away a ton of 'Twilight' merchandise at TwilightSeriesTheories.com leading up to the release. I will stay very busy!"

Don't forget: Fans can get in on our interviews with Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner by submitting video or text questions via MTV.com or Twitter (using @MTVNews, plus the hashtags #AskTwilight and #MTVFirst).

Lady Gaga 'Has Full Control,' Akon Says

Over the course of her ever-evolving career, Lady Gaga's longtime boss, Akon, has always been by Gaga's side as she reincarnated herself from disco-ball-wearing dance princess to couture-sporting pop demi-goddess.

Now that Mother Monster is several years and millions of albums sold into her career, Akon has stepped back a bit and changed his role in the Haus of Gaga, giving the singer more control over what she does with her career.

"So the way it works is, Gaga's on Kon Live/Streamline, which is Vincent Herbert, and it's distributed through Interscope," he explained to MTV News. "And the first two albums, we were fully involved in everything creative when it comes to Gaga, and then, as she grows, she becomes more in tune with herself [and] what she wants to do.

"Now she has full control over her project, period," he continued. "Everything you see of Gaga now is all from her brain ... and our job is just to make sure whatever she's thinking we can make into reality. So I guess more so with the approval processes and everything like that, we still do what we do, but creatively, 100 percent, it's all Gaga, and Vince does all the day-to-day stuff relating to Gaga."

Then whatever's about to go down in Gaga's upcoming "Marry the Night" video certainly got the A-OK from Akon. The singer was spotted in New York City filming a clip for the fifth single from her chart-topping Born This Way.

Justin Bieber To Play 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'

Maybe you haven't made your plans yet, but Justin Bieber knows exactly where he'll be on New Year's Eve: Times Square in New York.

Bieber has been booked to play live on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012," joining Lady Gaga on the 40th anniversary edition of the December 31 staple.

The show will help cap a busy holiday season for Bieber, who is preparing to release his first-ever holiday album, Under the Mistletoe, on November 1. The first video, for the song "Mistletoe," will debut Tuesday (October 18) at 7:54 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Bieber said he's excited for fans to check out his mix of holiday standards and new songs.

Regarding why he decided on a holiday release as fans wait for the follow-up to My World 2.0, Bieber said, "I was going to put out my album soon anyways, and I was thinking, 'It's near Christmastime. If I'm going to release an album near Christmas, I figure maybe I'd just do a Christmas album.' The fans get more music, and everyone's happy."

The singer said he picked a mix of his favorite Christmas songs ("Silent Night," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town") and new tunes ("Mistletoe," "Christmas Love") to offer a little something for everyone.

"I picked 'Santa [Claus is] Coming to Town,' because everyone loves those songs. Those are classics. They get people excited for Christmas," he said. "And then, for songs that we wrote, we wanted to make enough new songs for people to hear new music and not just hear some classics. There's a lot of new stuff on there."

Exclusive: Lady Gaga 'Inspired' By HALO Honoree

The TeenNick HALO Awards are weeks away from kicking off, but the celebrities involved are already spreading the word. In a new PSA for the event, airing November 6, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, David Beckham and Jessica Biel have joined forces to let viewers know about the show.

"Anti-bullying became something that I am now very passionate about," Lady Gaga said in a statement about being involved with the show. "I was bullied in school, and for a very long time, I kept those feelings inside. Today, I feel grateful and happy that I was able to get through these struggles and have friends, family and people around that inspired me ? people like Emily-Anne."

Emily-Anne Rigal, 17, has been paired with Gaga thanks to her work to help stop bullying. She started the WeStopHate.org website, helping to shed light on the cause.

Swift will be paired with 19-year-old James O'Dwyer, who started the Magnolia Disaster Relief, an aid program that aims to offer relief to rural areas hit by tornadoes.

"I think James and I have a lot in common, and I'm really glad I got to meet and surprise him at my concert," Swift said. "Judging from the things he's been able to accomplish, he's one of those people who does the work without looking for or taking any of the credit.

"What really impressed me about James is how he stepped up to the line as soon as he heard that people were in trouble," she continued. "He saw first-hand how their lives had been destroyed and instead of getting frozen in that moment, he posted a message on Facebook to rally anyone who could bring supplies and food to those who lost their homes in tornados."

Meanwhile, Biel is paired with Shanoah Washington, an 18-year-old who created the Sista2Sista program, which aims to motivate young women. Finally, Beckham was paired with Kyle Weiss, 18, who started the organization FUNDaFIELD, which builds soccer fields in Africa.

The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon. It all takes place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 26. The broadcast will air November 6 on Nick at Nite, with an encore November 7 on TeenNick.

Don't miss the TeenNick HALO Awards on Sunday, November 6, on Nick at Nite.

'Anonymous' Star Rhys Ifans On Playing the Man Behind Shakespeare's Works

Several aspects of this week's new release "Anonymous" are unexpected. From the controversial plot to Roland Emmerich turning away from big-budget action to tell a story about Shakespeare, much of it should surprise audiences, but one of the most interesting choices made by the creators of the film was the actor in the lead role, Rhys Ifans.

Known in the US for his smaller, oddball roles like Xenophilius Lovegood in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" and as Curt Connors in "The Amazing Spider-Man," Ifans may not seem like the natural fit for the role of the Earl of Oxford, and when the actor sat down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, he talked about his struggle to secure the lead in "Anonymous."

Ifans said that the first step was meeting director Roland Emmerich in his home in London and answering a question. "I read the script, and he asked me which role would I kind of be interested in. I told him, 'If I assume you are kind of a run of the mill director, you would offer me the part of Shakespeare?which Rafe Spall plays flawlessly and brilliantly?but if you were a brave and courageous director you would maybe consider me for the part of an English aristocrat who wrote the complete works of Shakespeare.'"

But Emmerich and the studio was still unsure of casting Ifans, but according the actor, the casting director stepped in to assure that he could handle the role. "I remember the casting director at the time telling Roland, 'No, honestly Roland, I've seen him in the theater. He does really good posh. He's very good at being posh,'" Ifans said.

"Anonymous" hits theaters today (Oct 28).

Also be sure to check out Rhys Ifans showing off his Lizard voice from "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Jay-Z, Kanye West's Throne Tour Has Thrilling Liftoff

ATLANTA, Georgia ? Not even a stormy night could stop the regal reign of the Throne. On Friday, Jay-Z and Kanye West opened up their Watch the Throne Tour in Atlanta. While the WTT album has been noted for its opulent displays of wealth, Hov and Yeezy's show will be marked by the duo's overabundance of hit records.

The doors to the Philips Arena opened at 7:30 p.m. ET and, with no scheduled show opener, the house DJ played old slow jams like the Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets," Little Beaver's "Get Into the Party Life" and Hank Crawford's "Wildflower" ? all songs that have been sampled by Kanye and Jay at one time or another. Still, the subtle measure wasn't nearly enough to keep fans satisfied. By 9 p.m. ET, the crunked-up crowd was restless and salivating for the night's stars.

With the house lights low and fans pumped, the multilayered instrumental from "H.A.M." came blaring through the sound system. The initial WTT track has been criticized by some as too over-the-top and too much unlike anything in Jay and 'Ye's respective catalogs, but the helter-skelter mix of crashing symbals, bleeps, beeps and bombastic bass was clearly built specifically for sports stadiums and grand auditoriums.

The build was perfect, even if the execution wasn't. Kanye commandeered a rising platform at the front of the stage, while Jay simultaneously occupied a similar lift that was situated on the floor in the middle of the crowd. Within moments, the duo were elevated in unison towering above the audience, volleying verses from one side of the arena to the other. Jay stumbled vocally, though: His ear piece short-circuited and failed to properly feed him the music and his timing was clearly affected. For a time, Hov's raps were badly off beat.

But there were no fits and no cursing at the sound man. Instead, Jay fought through the malfunction, which lasted through the next song. While mid-verse on the dubstep-laced "Who Gon Stop Me," Jigga cued to have the music cut, then finished his bars a capella, buying time until the technical mistake was corrected. From there, perfection ensued.

"Otis" came early in the set. With a Givenchy-designed American flag flashing on the stage's main screens, the Throne bounced through their fan-fave with a youthful glee. Surprisingly, the Roc Boys performed a number of hyped-up Watch the Throne cuts in the first quarter of the show.

With the Throne tone set, Kanye disappeared from the stage while Jay got his rocks off spitting his 1997 street banger "Where I'm From." Throughout the night, Hov and Yeezy would trade off, rocking a few solo songs a piece, before coming together for something collaborative. 'Ye tore through "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Jesus Walks" all by himself, before Jigga reappeared for Yeezy's "Diamonds from Sierra Leone (Remix)."

Jay's "Public Service Announcement" and "You Don't Know" were played against Kanye's "Good Life" and "Power" in a sound clash of sorts. By the time the Louis Vuitton Don launched into the gut-wrenching "Runaway," he had hit his stride. He even remixed "Runaway," pleading with the crowd to hold on to their loved ones as he sang, "If you love somebody tonight, hold on real tight." It was effective as couples in the crowd, hugged, danced and two lovebirds even made out.

In a comical section of the set, Jay-Z and the College Dropout weaved a funny story line where their hits "Big Pimpin'," "Gold Digger" and "99 Problems" became a narrative for Jay to school his "little brother" on the opposite sex.

Kanye owned the outfit of the night. After one particular wardrobe change, he marched out to "Touch the Sky" sporting a tribal-type jacket, leather kilt, leather pants underneath and his glow-in-the-dark Air Yeezys. Hov's black Yankee snapback and matching hoodie were no match.

Every time the crowd thought the two-hour-plus show was over, it wasn't. First there was "N---as in Paris." The track's Will Farrell intro ("We're gonna skate to one song and one song only") brought on the moment that everyone was waiting for. As the Atlanta crowd bounced feverishly to the Hit Boy-produced single, Jay halted the proceedings midway: "Start that sh-- over," he barked as the Throne's most-energetic selection of the night brought the crowd to an apex.

Next was Jay's "Encore," followed by an inspirational rendition of "Made in America," complete with images of Martin Luther King Jr. and "sweet brother" Malcolm X flashing on the big screen. Finally, the Throne closed with the rocked-out "Why I Love You," saluting the crowd as they moseyed offstage. "Peace ATL, thanks for all the love. Goodnight," Jay-Z said.

On a night where the two kings put their wealth on full display, lucky for Atlanta, Jay and Kanye West were willing to share.

Lady Gaga To Headline Z100 Jingle Ball Concert

It's time to get in the holiday spirit! On Friday (October 21), radio station Z100, with the help of pop star Demi Lovato, announced the lineup for their 2011 Jingle Ball concert.

All you Little Monsters better mark your calendars, because Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga, will be headlining the big event. The holiday concert will take place on Friday, December 9, at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

Lovato, who is also hitting the stage at Jingle Ball, helped announce the lineup at the official kickoff party at the Aropostale store in Times Square, where she also performed. The singer took the stage in front of a crowd filled with her fans (a.k.a. Lovatics) and sang four songs, including her cover of Lil Wayne's "How to Love" and her hit single off her Unbroken album, "Skyscraper." Lovato sat down with MTV News before the big event and told us just how thrilled she is to be a part of the big show.

"I just know I'm performing at Jingle Ball and that I'm really excited," Lovato said. "I'm going to the Aropostale store and I'm announcing the Jingle Ball lineup."

Of course, Gaga and Lovato aren't the only acts hitting the stage. Pitbull, LMFAO, super-producer David Guetta, and Lovato's personal favorite, Kelly Clarkson, will also be in attendance.

"I used to go to her concerts and now I'm performing with her," Lovato said of sharing the stage with Clarkson.

But wait, there's more! Gym Class Heroes, rockers Foster the People and pop newbies Hot Chelle Rae will also perform before the New York crowd.

Lady Gaga Does Marilyn Monroe At Pres. Clinton B'Day

Even with a galaxy of big stars on hand to honor former President Bill Clinton on his 65th birthday, it was, of course, Lady Gaga who made the big headlines Saturday night at the four-hour Clinton charity fundraiser, "A Decade of Difference."

Emerging on the stage from an all-white tree house, Gaga sang a sedate, unplugged version of "Born This Way" on keyboards, while wearing a giant cloth hat and flesh-colored cape over a similarly colored top and leggings. The backing track soon pumped up and a group of dancers came out as Gaga made her way down to the main stage and sang the line, "Don't be a drag, just be a queen," while the former president and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, clapped and smiled along.

Wearing a blond wig, Gaga paid homage to Marilyn Monroe by changing some of the lyrics to "Bad Romance" to "Bill romance," prompting the president to later declare, "I thought, 'My God, I get Lady Gaga, and I will have a heart attack celebrating my 65th birthday.' "

"Well, I'm having my first real Marilyn moment," Gaga joked after the opening, running her fingers through her mane. "I always wanted to have one, and I was hoping that it didn't involve an accident with some pills and a strand of pearls, so here we are."

Gaga's set also included a run through "Edge of Glory," during which she said, "I wish you were playing sax with me tonight, baby," an homage to late E Street horn man Clarence Clemons, who played on the song, but a quip that Clinton could have also taken as a nod to himself, as he's also known for blowing a mean sax.

The show took place at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Clinton Foundation and, though his birthday was on August 19, Clinton was still feeling very thankful for all the fuss.

"I am the only person in history who got to be president and then had a post-presidential birthday party attended by both Lady Gaga and the secretary of state," Clinton said to the crowd, which included such stars as Colin Farrell and Chevy Chase. "I want to thank Hillary because we met 40 years ago this year. When I met her, she was already doing the kind of work you see here long before it was cool."

Also on hand to fete the former president was Stevie Wonder, who performed "Superstition," "Sir Duke" and "For Once in My Life," and U2's Bono and the Edge (accompanied by a laptop), who did acoustic versions of "Desire," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "One," "Staring at the Sun" and "Miss Sarajevo." The pair also unveiled the first-ever live version of "A Man and a Woman" from 2004's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, dedicating it to Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.

The U2 singer praised the former president for his work in helping to broker peace in Ireland, saying that "at the top of the list" for playing the gig was the fact that his homeland is "truly at peace, north and south, because of the 42nd President of the United States of America," whom he dubbed the "most beloved president since JFK for us Irish."

Usher made news because he danced so hard that he split his pants during a mini-set that included a cover of the Joe Cocker take on the Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends," as well as his own "Yeah!" and "OMG." Also performing were Colombian pop star Juanes, country singer Kenny Chesney, Grace Potter and K'Naan. Among the celebrities on hand to make introductions were Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Segel and Maria Bello.

Shakespearean Actors Recreate 'Anonymous' Director Roland Emmerich's Films

Anyone familiar with director Roland Emmerich's body of work should be able to pick up on a few common threads, namely explosions, disasters, big speeches and general epicness. After directing such large-scale thrillers like "The Day After Tomorrow," "Godzilla" and "2012," Emmerich's decision to direct a film about Shakespeare as he does in "Anonymous" is a surprising choice.

Yes, Bill Pullman's "Our Independence Day" soliloquy before the dog fight against the invading aliens could be described as Shakespearan, but we're still missing the connection between the Bard and the man who froze all of New York City and populated it with ravenous wolves. There must be something we're missing, right?

To make the connection between Roland Emmerich films and William Shakespeare a little clearer, we here at MTV News have combined the two to help the transition to "Anonymous" easier to swallow. With some help from the Prithee Players, we have recreated some of the most memorable moments from Emmerich's film and given them a Shakespearean makeover. Watch scenes from "Universal Soldier," "Stargate," "The Day After Tomorrow" and "ID4" with some thee's and thou's added for extra class and refinement. Maybe now we can see that the Shakespearean influence has been there all along!

As you can see, we have been dealing with Shakespearean dramas all along. We were just distracted by reanimated Vietnam War vets, Mel Gibson killing Brits with the American flag and Will Smith punching an alien in the face.

"Anonymous" takes a bow in theaters October 28.

What other Roland Emmerich scenes deserve the Shakespeare treatment? Let us know in the comments below and on Twitter!

Lady Gaga, Beyonce And More Musical Halloween Costumes

Halloween is just around the corner, and even though times are tough, that doesn't mean you shouldn't still have a kick-ass costume. And since no one wants to end up trick or treating as a lame ghost (or a "sexy border patrol agent"), I'm here to help, with a handful of homemade Halloween costumes that allow you to still dress up as your favorite artist, while not breaking the bank.

Of course, if you don't have a bank to break, fret not, because a lot of my ideas don't require a costume at all ? just your imagination, a fierce attitude and an awareness of irony that borders on, well, ironic. So, if you're at a loss for your next costume ? or too broke to care ? read on, because, boy, do I have some suggestions for you. After all, Halloween is for everyone (especially those who love candy), and who among us doesn't want to dress up like Coldplay?!? Have a look, and send me some candy!

Adele: Deceptively easy. Refrain from speaking to anyone all night (vocal rest!) while firing through Marlboros like a mahjong player on a bender. For added authenticity, sell approximately one bazillion albums.

Beyonc: Take a balloon and stuff it beneath your $10,000 Reed Krakoff dress, mimic B's matronly glow with a $7,000 HD Ruby and Diamond Peel Facial, strap your $1,200 Christian Louboutin heels on extra tight to replicate the ankle-swelling side effects of pregnancy. Or just down a crate of Four Loko and get all crazy like the "Ring the Alarm" video.

Britney Spears: Get a boyfriend with exactly 24 rippling abdominal muscles. Consume Strawberry Frappuccinos as if they were being discontinued. Be a commercially viable force, much to the consternation of critics and naysayers the world over. Say "y'all" a lot.

Coldplay: Dress in matching, finger-painted outfits with three of your closest friends (or, in a pinch, tattered French Revolutionary garb). Donate all your candy to Oxfam. Hang out with Brian Eno. Maintain an almost annoying level of self-efficacy.

Justin Bieber: Just get a snake named Johnson.

Kanye West: Communicate to every single person you meet as if you were speaking in ALL CAPS. Wear sunglasses, even at night. Have a bizarre thing for the Olsen twins. Over-share when it comes to your personal feelings and sexual proclivities. Create complex, Machiavellian conspiracy theories. Treat every comment and criticism as if it were a flaming sword to the torso. Cut a Maybach in half with your pal Jay-Z.

Katy Perry: Dress up as a mermaid. Or a gawky, orthodontically enhanced pre-teen. Or an S&M cheetah. Or a space alien. Or, really, you could just lick a bunch of candy and stick it to various parts of your body. Katy's simple.

Lady Gaga: Sure, you could go the easy route and just trick or treat as Jo Calderone (and deliver a lengthy monologue while doing so), but where's the fun in that? Instead, why not meld yourself with a motorcycle, like the British boxer-turned-model, make a drug-fueled music video with him. Note: May not get you a ton of candy on the farms of Northern Ireland.

Tickets for Z100's Jingle Ball go on sale November 1.

'Beavis And Butt-Head' Returns Tonight

FROM MTV NEWS: It's been almost 14 years since the slackest slackers of a generation, Beavis and Butt-head, filled the airwaves with their shenanigans, but when the duo returns to television with new episodes Thursday (October 27), the MTV they return to is quite a different one.

Creator Mike Judge had to address the changes to the channel when deciding which direction to take the show in. Without music videos playing as regularly on MTV, there is less of an opportunity for Beavis and Butt-head to sit around and comment on them as they did during the show's original run. Reality shows like "Jersey Shore" and "16 and Pregnant" have replaced what were formerly blocks of music videos, and Judge said he wanted the new "Beavis and Butt-head" episodes to reflect that shift.

'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' Trailer: Tom Cruise On The Run!

Ethan Hunt's mission, should he choose to accept it, is to go rogue.

The latest -- and most insightful -- "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" trailer hit the web courtesy of Yahoo! Trailers. And, for those of us who are excited for this movie for its whole cast instead of just Tom Cruise's continued participation, this teaser also gives the best look at the IMF team yet. It looks like they're going to have some interesting chemistry.

It was obvious from earlier trailers that Jeremy Renner's character Brandt is more than meets the eye (this isn't a stretch: they have an exchange where Hunt asks him who he is really and Brandt replies, "We all have our secrets"), but this preview of the movie gives a better sense of the tension between the two IMF agents.

Simon Pegg's Benji and Paula Patton's Jane are clearly on the side of Team Hunt, but Brandt looks like he's likely to cause a good deal of trouble for the group. And Josh Holloway's Trevor Hanaway looks like he's up to absolutely no good in "Ghost Protocol." So who can Hunt trust this time around?

In case you missed the previous trailer for this film, Hunt and the rest of the IMF unit are set up on a mission in Moscow, and the Russian government considers the unexpected attack an act of war. The President initiates a black operation called "ghost protocol" and disavows the entire IMF force. It's up to Hunt to organize his team and find Brij Nath (Anil Kapoor), an intelligence agent with knowledge of the Moscow attack and the targeting of IMF.

Also, let's take a brief moment of silence for Tom Wilkinson's seemingly deceased IMF leader, may he rest in peace away from all the craziness of a secret agent's lifestyle.

Are you looking forward to "Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol"? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!

Justin Timberlake's 'In Time' & 10 Other Extremely Confusing Movie Premises

Originally, Justin Timberlake's new sci-fi action flick was called "Now." Apparently, though, that title didn't effectively communicate what the movie was all about, which isn't exactly surprising because what the movie, now called "In Time," is all about is kinda high-concept and confusing.

Go with us (and JT) for a second. In this cinematic future, overpopulation was a biiiiiiig problem, so scientists figured out how to slice and dice the human genome to the point where aging stops when you're 25. Seeing as how people like living and don't want to die young, time has become the new currency, something earned during work and spent like cash. How exactly time can be earned, stolen and kept track of on a fancy neon clock on your arm (as well as why everyone in the future is so damn good looking) is never really explained.

And why should it be? Confounding high-concept plots are a Hollywood staple. In this sense, "In Time" joins the sometimes glorious, sometimes grating pantheon of movies with extremely confusing premises.

"The Jacket": An amnesic Gulf War veteran takes an experimental drug, locks himself in a morgue chamber and is able to travel 15 years into the future, where he learns he might already be dead in one timeline but not another. Or something. Somebody revoke Adrien Brody's Oscar.

"Primer": An excellent low-budget time-travel flick so sciencey you need a PhD or two tabs of acid to understand it.

"Lost in Space": As if the sight of Joey from "Friends" as an action hero isn't perplexing enough, this adaptation introduces a third-act time-travel plotline that makes less sense than Herman Cain's tax plan. Why, Gary Oldman, why?

"Inception": The only thing more impressive than this dream-within-a-dream-within-a-bunch-of-other-dreams movie is how the hell Christopher Nolan pulled it all off.

"Donnie Darko: Is it too harsh to say that anyone who thinks this is a brilliantly conceived work where suburban alienation and sci-fi mindf--k dovetail to create a generation-defining film is an idiot? Oh well. The movie makes no sense. And the rabbit thing is silly.

"Detention": Just watch the trailer and then try and explain what the eff that movie is about.

"The Thirteenth Floor: This is a prime example of a bad-good sci-fi film. Don't ask why no one in this virtual-reality storyline never traveled outside of town to discover ? oh shiz! ? they live in virtual reality too.

"Johnny Mnemonic": Who would allow any sensitive information to be uploaded for safe-keeping into Keanu Reeve's brain? Maybe if David Fincher or David Wain remade this movie, it could be darkly creepy or darkly ridiculous, but there's a reason Robert Longo has only been allowed to make one movie since it.

"The Fountain": It'd take far more caffeine than is available at our local Starbucks just to summon up enough energy to summarize what the heck goes down in this time-hopping movie about?well, honestly, we can't. Deal with it.

Every David Lynch movie ever: I mean, amiright?!

'Harry Potter' DVDs Returning Late 2012, Early 2013

When I suggested that another "Harry Potter" complete DVD boxed set was on its way in the next year or so, I wasn't very far off. Warner Bros might be making a big deal of the fact that "Harry Potter" DVDs are being taken off shelves starting December 29, but they won't be gone forever. In fact, one head honcho over at WB says that yes, there will be a new even better special edition boxed set of all eight "Potter" DVDs due out by the end of 2012.

Entertainment Weekly chatted with Warner Bros's senior VP and general manager of their theatrical catalog Jeff Baker, who says that execs at WB are planning on a new boxed set focused on special features due out next year.

"There is discussion internally about aggregating assets from all of these films over the last decade and adding some new things -- we?ve never done an Ultimate Edition on the final two films -- and doing some grand kind of piece," he says. "It could be the end of 2012 or the beginning of ?13."

In other words, the current boxed set that is coming out on November 11 that has all eight "Potter" DVDs doesn't sound like the be-all-end-all collector's item for die-hard "Potter" fans, which explains why the current boxed set is going for $60 on Amazon.com, by all intents and purposes a steal. If you -- like me -- have been saving your pretty pennies for a compilation that includes a whole slew of special features, perhaps its best to hold off on purchasing the DVDs until next year when the (better) edition comes out.

Baker adds that, though WB has been making a big deal about how they're pulling the "Potter" DVDs off shelves on December 29, the DVDs will probably still be around at the beginning of next year. It's not that WB is issuing a recall of the DVDs, it's that they won't be shipping out any new ones.

"Even though there could be a sense of urgency from the consumers' perspective, there will be 'Potter' product come the first of the year," he explains. "But over time, they?ll be less and less of that inventory. At some point, whether it's next April or May or June or July, it'll probably be very difficult to find 'Harry Potter' product, especially if you're looking for the third movie or the fifth movie, for example."

If you had been getting worried that you'd never be able to find a "Potter" DVD again after December 29, this should ease your fears. The Boy Who Lived isn't going to be gone forever, and he'll likely be back before you even get a chance to really miss him.

With that in mind, plus their reassurance that there will still be Potter product on shelves next year (though rarer in the springish season), does that make you feel less rushed about getting Potter now? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!

'Breaking Dawn' Stars Gush About Each Other

It's hard to escape what everyone else is saying about the stars of "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" ? whether it's fans gossiping about Rob and Kristen or teen girls fawning over Taylor's abs ? but what do the three biggest stars from "Twilight" have to say about one another?

We've looked through stories from our years of "Twilight" coverage and compiled our 10 favorite quotes that Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have said about each other in advance of our "MTV First" with the cast of "Breaking Dawn" on Thursday, November 3 at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV.

Here is what the stars had to say:

"She's more stubborn than me in a lot of ways. She really stands up for what she thinks is right. It's generally on the same page with what I think is right, but I never have the balls to do it." ? Rob on Kristen during "New Moon"

"She looked amazing. I really didn't do anything much but just stand there." ? Rob on Kristen in her "Breaking Dawn" wedding dress

"I didn't see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting ['New Moon']. When he came back, I had the same reaction as everybody else. I was like, 'Jeez, now I have to go to the gym!' " ? Rob on Taylor's "New Moon" abs

"It's fun to watch with [Taylor Lautner], because we actually sit and watch it. Me and Taylor are actual 'Twilight' fans, so we can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob ... he likes it, but he has just such a different energy." ? Kristen on watching "Twilight" with Taylor

"You're so cute." ? Taylor on Kristen

"I don't feel like kissing you!" ? Rob to Kristen at the MTV Movie Awards

"It was really fun to see Kristen try and act all tough, and she's a vampire and she's chucking me across the yard into trees. It was funny." ? Taylor on Kristen throwing him around in "Breaking Dawn"

"It's not tough when you're working with someone like this. She's extremely talented, and we get along really, really well." ? Taylor on working with Kristen during "Breaking Dawn"

"He's really buff! He definitely is. It took him a lot of time." ? Kristen on Taylor

"It's just totally false ... Rob and I are good friends." ? Kristen on rumored relationship with Rob

Don't miss "MTV First" with Rob, Kristen and Taylor on Thursday, November 3, at 7:56 pm ET on MTV, when the stars will introduce a never-before-seen clip from "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and answer your questions afterward on MTV.com.

Johnny Depp's 'Rum Diary' Inspired Booze-ography

Today, in theaters around the country, you can pay money to see Johnny Depp get drunk. Real drunk. Blacked-out, forget-who-you-are, hallucination-heavy drunk in "The Rum Diary."

What fun! Who couldn't use a little more drunk Johnny Depp in these uncertain times? With that thought it mind, we started wondering what Depp's other films would look like thoroughly soaked in booze: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" if Tim Burton put less of an emphasis on surgery fun and more on bourbon-fueled craziness, "Pirates of the Caribbean" had skulls been used for parties rather than supernatural scares, "Alice in Wonderland" had everyone been high on set (though, honestly, they might have been).

Alas, these movies aren't going to be remade with new, drunken agendas; the next best thing would be to ignore reality, like Depp does so well in "Rum Diary," and imbibe as if they were. For this quest, we turned to The Hurricane Club, an elegant tiki-inspired restaurant in Manhattan. Head bartender Colin Mooney designed five cocktails for us based on Depp's films. The wacky result is Johnny Depp's Booze-ography.

The 161 miniature bottles that Depp drinks in "Rum Diary" may not be complimentary, as he eventually discovers to his dismay, but these cocktails are. Enjoy responsibly!

Kreayshawn Addresses Gangsta Boo's 'RapFix' Jabs

On Wednesday, Tennessee rapper Gangsta Boo stopped by "RapFix Live" and addressed the current state of the female MC, noting that she hoped everyone could learn to work together. But she had less than kind words for one MC in particular, Kreayshawn.

During the conversation, Gangsta Boo likened the "Gucci Gucci" rapper to a "wigger" and told "RFL" host Sway that the up-and-comer reminds her of a character from the 1997 Halle Berry comedy "B.A.P.S." Although she gave respect to Kreayshawn, the Three 6 Mafiia co-founder said she was concerned about Kreay's "ghetto" image.

Shortly after Boo's appearance on the live stream, Kreayshawn took to Twitter, sending out a few mysterious tweets that many fans took as a dig at the rapper. "Hahahah lonely hungry bitch don't deserve a mention. my local news caster got more followers then on you. Go play with ya kids hoe!"

She followed that up with another tweet: "Hope them shirts you selling at least paying your rent! Happy I can contribute."

The tweets seemed to be a reaction to Gangsta Boo, who showed off her shirt on Wednesday's show. On Friday (October 28), Kreayshawn was back on Twitter clearing the air, with a tweet to the Memphis MC." @GangstaBooQOM I wasn't talkin bout you. You know how the media be. [Sh--] you was one my fav. female rappers! You can say what you want," she wrote.

Kreay insisted those tweets weren't directed at Gangsta Boo when MTV News spoke to her on Friday afternoon.

"I was just like kind of shocked because I'm a fan of Gangsta Boo and as a female, she was one of the females in the game that inspired me to rap," she said of the comments made about her on "RapFix Live." When I heard it I was like, 'What? Gangsta Boo? This sucks.' To hear that from somebody that inspired me.

[The tweets] didn't even have anything to do with her. I already spoke to her about it," the Bay Area MC added. "The thing I tweeted wasn't even about her. It was on some whole other person. We ended up talking to each other. ... We worked everything out. There ain't no problems."

Gangsta Boo also let her fans know any beef has been settled. "PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE STOP ALL THIS KREAYSHWAN AND BOO S--- GOOD GOD HOW BOUT THEM BRAVES???? ITS NO BEEF FOR CHRIST SAKES. Just got off the phone w/ @KREAYSHAWN & I DID snap a lil bit in interviews but she took it like a G & she Luvs BAPS & she is not a 'wiggy,' " she tweeted.

"New respect 4 her because she did not take it to heart & she got at me letting me know she was not talking abt me so HEY MEDIA :) BYE MEDIA," Lady Boo added.

Now that the two performers have smoothed things over, Kreayshawn said she totally respects Boo's opinion. "From the outside looking in, everyone has the option to their own opinion," she said. "That's why I wasn't mad at her. I was just like, 'Oh, this sucks.' She can have her opinion, but we talked about it and it's all good."

'In Time': The Reviews Are In!

What do you get when you mix a futuristic, time-as-money/life-or-death premise; a cast of pretty young things, including Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Matt Bomer and Cillian Murphy; plus the sound sci-fi sensibilities of writer/director Andrew Niccol ("Gattaca," "The Truman Show") and appropriately stylized cinematography by Roger Deakins ("True Grit," "The Reader")? "In Time" is what, a complex, visually appealing sci-fi thriller that has audiences and critics somewhat divided. (The critical collective over at Rotten Tomatoes is at 36 percent rotten, while its audience rating sits at 76 percent fresh.)

Take a few moments to check out the film's ticking points, if you will, as we sift through the "In Time" reviews!

The Story
"The premise builds on the notion that time is money. In the movie's dystopian future, where today's cars have tomorrow's grilles, time has replaced money. People are born with genetic clocks that stop at the age of 25; after that they've got one year in which to beg, borrow, steal or even earn more time. If they don't, the digital clocks embedded in their forearms dwindle down to zero and they time out, i.e., die. That's clever, right? But then there are roving gangs called Minute Men (Teddy Boy types out of 'A Clockwork Orange') who steal time; the borderline-silly spectacle of almost everyone looking 25; the polemic element of social injustice (the richest of the rich can live forever because they've got eons socked away); and the action-adventure element, a clumsy amalgam of Robin Hood, 'Bonnie and Clyde,' 'The Avengers,' 'Les Misrables,' 'Dick Tracy' (for the color and graphics) and Mr. Niccol's earlier, and impressive, genetic-engineering opus 'Gattaca.' " ? Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal

The Sci-Fi Confusion/ High-Concept Factor
"For a movie about the importance of maximizing every second, 'In Time' ultimately grows repetitive and wears out its welcome. It's fast-paced and hugely stylish, though, with its great-looking cast and a mix of gleaming, futuristic visuals and grimy, industrial chic. And it's a welcome return to the kind of slick sci-fi Niccol made his name on in the mid-'90s with 'Gattaca' and 'The Truman Show' (which he wrote). But his high-concept premise raises several nagging questions. Why do all the inhabitants of this dystopian world (which happens to look just like downtown Los Angeles and Century City) stop aging at 25, then find themselves with only a year left unless they can buy themselves more? When did this start ? what is the purpose? And if Justin Timberlake is so busy working in a factory just so he can afford to live one day to the next, where does he find time to go to the gym?" ? Christy Lemire, The Associated Press

The Performances
"There are moguls who are mean and have more time than God, which they bank in banks. Chief among them is a calculatingly evil Philippe Weis ('Mad Men's' Vincent Kartheiser, well-turned-out here too), with daughter Sylvia (Seyfried) the apple of Daddy's eye ? although whether he loves her or time more will be tested. There are regular bad guys, time thieves called Minutemen, led by Alex Pettyfer, who seems to be getting a little too comfortable in bad-guy roles ('Beastly,' 'Tormented'), as Fortis. Meanwhile, inflation is rampant; the class divide is growing ever wider; the world is ripe for an action hero. Cue Timberlake. 'In Time' was supposed to turn Timberlake into a superhero, though given the way he manages a fairly massive pop career with an increasingly impressive acting portfolio ('Social Network' most recently), that may not be necessary. He brings an interesting sensibility to his characters, Will included, that suggest a complex interior that 'In Time' never quite reveals. The same goes for Seyfried ('Mamma Mia!,' 'Red Riding Hood'), who can do a lot more than use those big eyes and sleek lines." ? Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times

The Final Word, Pro-Con-Pro Style
"There's plenty to enjoy about that genre standard, which, with the help of the cinematographer Roger Deakins (shooting in digital), Mr. Niccol transforms into a neonoir gaudily washed in green and gold. There's a memorable night scene when Will and Sylvia sprint across a succession of roofs pursued by Raymond, the camera racing parallel with the couple, the exuberance of their freedom and flight palpable. Here, as in other scenes where Mr. Niccol let his images do the talking, the movie works, despite its wavering tone and slow-and-go energy. But then the characters open their mouths and start going on about minutes and hours, clocks and watches, and their time running out and not having enough time and where's my time, don't waste my time, that time will get you killed, brother can you spare some time because, well, I'm all out." ? Manohla Dargis, The New York Times

"One problem with 'In Time' is that it's more fun to describe than to sit through. Another is that Niccol's direction of his cast is spotty at best. Timberlake has the steely visage and stubbled cheeks for a rogue hero, but Seyfried, always a watchable presence, has trouble connecting with Sylvia's inner rebellious streak or, for that matter, lending urgency to her line readings. The film's crucial failing, though, is that Niccol's imagination is vigorously literary but not thrillingly cinematic. The movie exhausts its capital about halfway through ? devolving, as the Timekeeper tracks the lovers on the run, into a series of car chases and foot races, none of them very spiffily executed. If you're like me, you will be captivated by the first hour and, after that, impatiently checking your watch." ? Richard Corliss, Time

"Even if 'In Time' descends from its gripping and thought-provoking premise into a mediocre chase thriller before it's over, it's still pretty damn satisfying to watch in the current climate. Of course the contradictions of capitalism are just as present in eras of widespread affluence as in eras of recession or stagnation, but we see them a hell of a lot more clearly at the moment. Niccol is dramatizing the human costs of the concentration of wealth, expressed by Philippe in the film with the formula that some must die so others can live forever. Somewhere Marx quips that capital is immortal even if its possessors are not; this movie's imaginative leap is to conflate the two and build a world where even death, the great leveler in human affairs, can be bought off." ? Lady Gaga Reveals 'Marry The Night' Cover Art

Lady Gaga is getting her Little Monsters amped up for the "Marry the Night" video. On Monday night, she tweeted out some teases about the New York-based clip.

"Just wrapped my 5th music video, can't wait to unfold all its secrets and share with you moments from my past I have yet to reveal," she said on the site. "Put Born This Way back in the vessel, for rebirth, as I lay in mine. When too strong to divorce, then buckle up, MARRY THE NIGHT."

Gaga shot the video earlier this month in her hometown. She was spotted all over town filming scenes for the Born This Way single's video, including at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island.

"This is my favorite song on the album. Are you ready [producer] @FERNANDOGARIBAY?" she said. "This one is our baby."

In the MTV News documentary "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," the singer recalled the time Born This Way musical director Fernando Garibay first played the church bell-filled track that would become the inspiration for "Marry the Night." "It's like Whitney, but imagine if Bruce Springsteen had a baby with Whitney Houston ? that's what it is," she said. "And that was it! We made a baby. Finally."

In addition to getting philosophical about the clip, Gaga also shared the cover art for the single, the fifth off her chart-topping album. "Do you want the #MARRY THE NIGHT SINGLE COVER tonight?" Mother Monster asked her dedicated legion of fans. "If monsters make MARRY THE NIGHT SINGLE COVER the number one trending topic I will release it tonight. Early. SORRY INTERSCOPE! I LOVE THEM!"

After Twitter blocked all chances to get the trend going, Gaga defied the rules and released the art anyway. "Even better, you pissed [off] Twitter. Be prepared to Marry the Night at 8pm PST," she said before dropping it with this message: "New York is Not Just a Tan that You'll Never Lose."

In the picture, Gaga is dressed in leather, shaking her blond hair around. She's posing on the wet hood of a car while a fire burns behind her. It looks to be a scene from the video. No word yet on when the clip will premiere.

Lady Gaga Spotted On 'Marry The Night' Set In NYC

Lady Gaga is keeping the wedding reception going for a little bit longer. The singer has once again been spotted in New York filming scenes for her "Marry the Night" video.

In footage posted online, Gaga dances on the roof of a car as she sings the bridge from the song. She then slides down the car and begins rolling around on the hood as the chorus kicks in. She's dressed in black, with a blond bob wig and black heels. It's visibly raining out as she shoots, but in the footage she appears unfazed by the weather.

In some photos posted on Hypable, the singer is sporting a very goth look, including a black bra top, hot pants and over-the-knee boots.

A photo posted on Aceshowbiz.com is reportedly from a set-up in Harlem earlier in the day on Thursday. In it, the star wears bright blue lipstick and a leather romper. The website reports that at the Harlem shoot she performed with male dancers and was also spotted in a long-sleeve red dress with padded shoulders.

Earlier this week Lady Gaga was in Staten Island shooting parts of the video at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, and MTV News spoke to the Center's CEO, Lynn Kelly, who was very excited that Gaga decided to film there.

"We found both her and her crew to be easy to work with and low-key," Kelly told us. "I think we would have expected a lot of drama, and the truth is, she is probably the most down-to-earth person. It was endearing. She was friendly and kind.

"I think, for us, we're so excited to have someone of her talent, and to have somebody like that shoot here is a sheer honor," she continued. "What her music does for music is so much more than entertainment. It's connecting to the arts on a much deeper level, and that's what I hope we can do here."

Shit you was one my fav. female rappers!
